undoubtedly the best online made to measure suit company. The prices really reflect that. We can sense that they definitely have a unique suit aesthetic that would leave most of us wondering what makes it look so special. Thank you for reviewing suits from many different price ranges so that we can get a good sense of what is offered for different money. I find your videos especially valuable to me... now more than much larger fashion vlogging channels due to the way you talk about the industry and act as a consumer rather than a salesman. This is especially important as I still am trying to develop my style

I really love the fabric choice, it has interest to it, and looks high end without going overboard. The over all style feels sleek and modern, while being totally effortless to wear. It isn't stuffy or stiff, just classy. I'd be very happy with this.

AOS is a good company and Dan the owner is a nice guy. They really go for the unstructured build with no shoulder padding or internal structure. It's a very good breathable easy to wear approach.

That fabric looks amazing! I love an interesting textured fabric and the fact that it's unlined is a plus for someone like me who lives in Hot As Hell Orlando. I still don't think I can swing that price yet, but my appreciation for AoS has gone up a couple of notches. I've been following them for a few years. Very good website.

great review and nice suit! I am thinking about putting their action stretch shirt and the action suit onto my grail list of things i ultimately want to have in my closet. also their manhattan trench coat seems to be a good alternative to the burberry's, given that it is actually waterproof and made out of anti-stink merino wool in case you do sweat in your outerwear. what do you think about these garments? do you have other made to measure companies in mind who make classic menswear with the performance aspect incorporated? I would love to have a ministry of supply suit some day but as they dont do mtm (at least not that i am aware of) that is no option for me since i have too long arms for otr menswear garments.

The fabric and fit looks great, but something about the way that right lapel sits above your chest would bother me. Maybe it is the camera angle.

I think it is the camera because I didn't notice it in mirrors. BUT I bet that's the average height of people I'd speak to, something to consider. Thank you Tyler!

I agree. From the side view one can see that the lapel notch needed pressed. There was a slight crease effecting the angle at which the notch, in this case, rose above the body of the suit

While it does look great, i'm not sure of the value as its still a half canvas suit and at 1400 USD i would rather have a full canvas suit. Just a thought. EDIT: I have read somewhere that Articles of Style suits are made in the southwick factory which has made BB suits before.

@Bill Corben if I may; when you consider the fabric cost, the make cost and all the shipping, plus shipping out the try on garment, this is actually a very reasonable price. I would have to go check the prices on this particular wool silk blend is likely from either the Botto Giuseppe mill or VBC mill, by the time he's done he would be lucky to make $500 on that and it's a 3 piece for that price don't forget.

@Bill Corben Thank you for your reply. I do believe that AOS offers full canvas as an option for likely an extra $100. So, it may just be that he didn't select that option. I'm starting a custom tailoring business in about a year myself. Way too busy right now. My full canvas option will only be $100 which is cheap as we sew it in all by hand. No glue, no machines. Since I already know my pricing, I'll tell you, we will make a Dormueil Amadaus or Kronos bunch super high quality suit for only $1,495. This includes hand sewn button holes, lapel hole, lapel, canvas, liner, colar and much more. A truly exquisite suit for a killer price. That's just an example.

Glad you’re happy with the suit, good video. The AOS house cut isn’t my cup of tea. I prefer an English drape cut. The AOS cut is too slim and on trend for me

Im binging your MTM videos lol but drooling over this one. I think this is such a cool concept and love that they are using US factories. Just goes to show they arent cutting corners. I think its no secret that indochino (and the like) are making the same cheap construction but to your measurements. This is totally next level and honestly the price seems reasonable for what it is. PErsonally, with a casual fabric like tweed i would have gone with wide notch lapels but this is amazing too!

Brother I'm 5.4' and I've had women stop mid-sentence to tell me how great I look in my Aos suit - pull the trigger, you won't regret it. If you want a suit that will lengthen you e-mail them and ask for their opinion - they know their stuff and will go a long way to make sure you get something you feel great in

I'm stuck between aos and mytailor. Lots of people are getting good results from aos but kirby allison's suits look really nice which is kinda making me lean towards mytailor.

Beautiful suit, especially the wool pattern. I wouldn't wear it with the same vest and a hard white shirt though. The peaks of the label are bit too enthusiastically, you're not Schwarzenegger enough for them.

I would suggest you order another pair of pants I heard from one of your suit reviews you ordered an extra pair due to the wear& tear, a beautiful suit but if the pants start deteriorating & you can't order another pair then you can't wear the whole suit

Suit Supply's made to measure program starts right at $1,000 so you'll quickly end up in the same price range, and you won't be able to do it unless you can get to a SuitSupply store. AoS might have the edge there.
