Hi, I'm new here, I really liked your review, especially because you've been using it for a long time... not like in other channels where they only give their opinion after 1 week of use or something like that... Great work!! I’ve watch other reviews that put me a little off saying no cold pull ect.. you made it look easy with your suggestions. I do like the intergraded power and Bowden tube, looks very sturdy and stylish but very functional too. No dangling over the prints. Think I’ll be adding this next to my Sidewinder X1. 🤙🤙 two golden Shakas

So glad you actually did what the other reviewers didn't and showed the nozzle clearance. Great to see a good review with a download to a tuned profile I'm still learning the process and whilst the Hornet is a cheaper printer i found the initial quality to be almost as good as my ender 3v2. At anly 106 GBP this was a steal. Could you make a suggestion for the sunlu pla+ rainbow filament? I wish you great success for the future 👍.

Thank you very much :) I dont have experence with that exact filament but with other rainbow filaments Ive done 220/60 and printed slower, 50mm/s base speed.

Great review showing a lot of prints. I'm looking for a secondary printer. Standing between Artillery Hornet and the new Ender 2 pro. 3D printers are a bit more expensive here in Norway. Hornet at full price is around 330 dollars. Now on sale at the same price as Ender 2-Pro for about 250 dollars. Should be a no brainer, but not made up my mind. I Like the small size of E2, but Hornet has always looked interesting for me.

Good afternoon I bought an artillery hornet in the first impressions they turned out very well but when I did something more precise it was giving a stronger dimension of the piece when I tried to level and change the flow in the printer I never got the same one again can you give me some tips on the subject thank you

I would go through and do a full calibration of the machine. I have a video planned of doing just that but its going to be a while. Teaching Tech has a great website for it, check it out here, teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html

I have to say, I have bought the genius Pro and have the X1 for some time now. I decided to get the Hornet as well, since I needed a third unit. It came with a screen that only has a backlight and no display. That was strike one. Now jumping through hoops with Artillery for them to send one that works. I told them I may just return the machine and they expect me to pay shipping. I have decided to see if I get it working or not....I am disappointed in this unit. If you are looking for a printer for a good price, that works very well, go with the genius pro. This thing is all show and no go.

Im sorry you are having trouble with it. Its been the most reliable printer I have. These things are a little hit and miss. I hope you get it all sorted.

I've seen some sites labeling it as capable of printing ABS - is this possible?

Depending on what temperature you are printing at maybe. The hottest I would go is 240c, maybe 245, but thats pushing the limitations of the PTFE tube in the hot end. Artillery does not list ABS as a compatible material.

@@EtherealProject3D I've heard some horror stories about PTFE overheating alright, particularly if you have a small animal in the house(which I do). Would it be possible to add a heatbreak to at least make PETG more reliable. I'm hearing the temps you need to print PETG at have the same problem. My main issue is with printing small figures - between 2.5 and 4 inches, and when I used to do this with PLA in the library printer most of them shattered pretty easily. Would a lower flexibility TPU potentially work here too?

@@SisterRose I have found that Hatchbox PETG printed slow at 240 gives great results.
