The video misinforms. The Assassins of Rajiv Gandhi are DEAD. These people are fringe people who involvement is culpable to various degrees. In at least one case, an officer said later that 'confession' in the report was an exaggeration. Yet all of them were over- not under- punished. They were awarded life imprisonment. As per rules they are eligible for parole which the state government has to decide. In this case, across parties and Gandhi family, everybody was on board.

If the courts keep on letting killers go free, then the people won't have any fear. Their mindset will change like anyhow after serving 14 years sentence they will be free and will continue committing crime. The criminal should feel that he will lose their life if they commit crime. And the cases of people being killed in the broad day light is becoming frequent these days in almost all parts of India. Death sentences will reduce these crimes.

I mean we also trained and armed the LTTE , so we technically played both sides in that war , so you could also say that we were responsible for some of the terrorist attacks carried out by the LTTE in Sri Lanka. But none of this justifies assassinating the Indian prime minister , if that happened in any other serious country in the world , the people responsible would have been sentenced to death in an instant.

One congress member requested Rajiv to come to TN, that person did not go to invite him. Mk Narayanan removed protection for Rajiv, he took the only cassette and never returned it. Chandra Swamy got so much money that year. Chandra Swamy probably killed mr jain/jain commission.

Major ravi who headed the cammandos in the investigation team said he is against letting the killers go.He said this is an insult to the nation . Also commandos wanted to do an operation to capture the killers in the bungalow alive .But karthikeyan did not allow it .Because he wanted the operation to happen only at his presence in order to get credit for the operation. This led to delay in operation and the cammandos waited for over a day.During this time the killers came to know about the cammandos and they committed suicide.Major Ravi made a movie out of this called mission 90 days

I dont know why but. Our judicial system is too soft on criminals . First of all the conviction rate is so low . Despite having strong evidences , culprits are freed . Even those who get punishment is very mild . Then they also talk to abolish death penalty which is not given to 2 dozen people since independence . All these things motivate criminals . And make us feal unsafe .

No one has seen and/or confirmed that she was wearing the bomb belt and switched on. It could be someone else in that crowd also. And do you know why our top Congress leaders in our Tamil nadu have left and not accompanied our ex PM candidate and not died along with him? Do they know these well before. The criminals in the congress party are still roaming free and enjoying outside and they were never remanded for questioning during the trial. No evidence of wearing the bomb belt and its not proved in the case. Not really the supporter but there is a reason why he was killed. Bcos of his war crime kiling, r.,a,p.,,ing innocent civilians there and you would have felt the pain if one of them was your mom or sis from your family.

This is a highly debatable topic with no right answer. Should the killers of Rajiv be set free coz of Gandhi family's insistence? Well if Rajiv was not the PM then the request to pardon the criminal by the victim's family is often taken into consideration. I am not sure if the decision to pardon Nalini was motivated by politics or personal principles, but either way Rajiv had given his life to the country, so I think its only fair, that in death he belonged to his family.

Swamy's once close associate and his party functionary even complained to the Jain commission that Swamy was the prime suspect as he knew the assassination of Rajeev well before. But Swamy was let off the hook because he had the strong lobby in the bureaucracy. In my opinion (i do not have the right to judge anyone but) they committed a crime that could destabilise the government of India and a terrorist attack such pardons shouldn't be allowed. such harsh punishments exist to make sure others don't walk down this path. by pardoning the court is showing complacency and this will lead to more crimes. About the arguement that she should be released for her daughter, she did not think about her daughter when helping the perpetrators, she did not stop to think what would happen to her daughter if she was caught...

I am really saddened by mercy shown to Rajiv Gandhi's killers. Rajiv Gandhi was killed for decisions he took as a PM of India. In short, his killing was not an act against an individual but an act against India as a state. His killers (including those who were directly or indirectly involved) should have never been pardoned. It will set a very dangerous precedence with catastrophic repercussions. But you also need to understand that the method used to avenge the death of the 2lakh south indians did not solve this issue, it is going on and on. The LTTE was wiped out, and sri Lanka became bank corrupt and rajapakse got kicked out, you can call all this karma as well. So that entire episode is still continuing. If the issue solves, there is peace, to solve it you need to employ a particular method. One can forgive as well.

If you want to change something you need power, unity and perseverance. For power we have to do hard work, need education and development. Huh ,, frankly he died becoz of his own mistakes, there was no need to be involved in Sri Lanka or send army there , just becoz he was a pm I'm not going to forget that becoz of him many of our soldiers were martyred in Sri Lanka who is now closer to china and harrasses our fishermen, india did similar things to nepal too (deposing a hindu monarchy and supporting communist party against the will of nepal) and now nepal is playing in china's lap,, congress gov and their Gandhian philosophy has always brought us defeat in foreign policy,,

I am putting a different point which we never thought. A foreign lady became family member of the dynasty family which was in power and came to India. After sometime her brother in law get killed in an accident. After sometime her mother in law was assassinated. After sometime her husband was also assassinated. Then there was no one else from the family to run the party except her. After sometime two dynamic mass leader of the party got killed in accidents mysteriously. Then whole party became servant of that Lady. These series of incidents can't be co incidents. Thanks.

Eelam should be indian, if only we liberated ourselves by force we would have Pakistan and Sri Lanka, it's because of these Gandhian ideology we suffered, British gave us freedom, instead we should have TAKEN it, they would have no say over land, hence Sri Lanka would be in our control and our eelam would have been made part of tamil nadu, ###k.
