I loved when he says “this is how far we made so far” at the very beginning of Asakusa, that’s absolutely what I do too as a big shopper😂 You guys definitely should check out Sibuya Sky. It’s a new spot and you can see amazing Tokyo view especially during sunset time. Enjoy your rest of the day in Tokyo!!

I only know Asakusa and Sensoji temple at night. It will always be very special and dear to me because it was the first place I chose to visit when I arrived in Japan for the first time. While I haven’t experienced the shopping street the way it normally is during the day I can say that at night the lighting looks stunning on the temple and it’s mostly a quiet. Again great vlog, new subscriber here😊

missed Japan.. glad you made it to Asakusa.. oldest neighborhoods in Tokyo! love its alleyway, food stalls and just overall relaxing neighborhood. yes Tokyo Skytree is the tallest freestanding tower in the world. 2nd tallest after the Burj Kalifa at its time in 2010! difference is tower and not building. TIP: if you want to avoid the somewhat pricey ticket to the observation deck of Skytree (which is a nice view) i recommend going to the Tokyo Government building in Shinjuku for free observation deck. its FREE and just as nice view of Tokyo. enjoy

12:56 "Tastes like the Japanese version of a Twinkie." Then you should try a Tokyo Banana. If you plan to go to the Tokyo Skytree (13:34), there's a Tokyo Banana store in there. Get the basic Tokyo Banana that comes in a box of 8 for around ¥1000 (I think thats the price; it's been so long since I've had one).
