@@lehyplay6961 I think Tappei was saying that he’d like to write Heinkel as a protagonist, like Heinkel is (as a character) good material for one. It makes sense when you see a bit more into Heinkel’s mind, he’s kinda similar to Subaru in a few ways.

When I finally got to new content with vol 16 I enjoyed that so much. Seeing all the characters settled in after everything that went down in arc 4 and just seeing them all interact made it one of the most enjoyable volumes for me. Really surprised to hear him say that about it

I just finished re-binging the show (preparation for S3)…and damn, I got so much more out of it than I did the first time, it’s almost as if I never watched it at all. Stunning. I need Rem in my life…& maybe Beatrice

@@user-wy1lk4le5wYeah this is a trailer for Episode 1 of the 3rd season. Furthermore assuming Arc 6 will be covered in a second cour it probably wont be shown until the end of Arc 5.

Why would they? Arc 5 alone is probably going to be like 15-18 episodes. I can’t think of pretty much any multi cour anime season that has shown footage from the second cour when the first hasn’t even started

From what I can tell based on his arc 7 videos Asaratha seems to heavily dislike any moments that don’t involve conflicts or battles. Those always end up being called or having bad pacing or something along those lines by/according to him. That’s at least the impression I got.

Yeah I don’t understand what he meant by that either. I thoroughly loved that volume both times I read it. There’s lots of great character moments throughout and it’s a great way to setup the arc. Especially when you consider how little downtime of peace and quiet the characters will get after this

uh... no. it has nothign to do with no conflicts or battles. one of the arc 7 chapters i enjoyed the most is the campfire chapter. i mean the unwelcome addition to an obnoxious pedophile character, Lilliana who is still extremely controversial, and a big chunk of time being spent making unfunny jokes like about Subaru being a 'lolimancer'. that going on for 4 episodes straight woulda been like pepper spraying the casual audience. ive heard things are improved in the LN, but looking back at Vol 16 WN, it is far less enjoyable than I remembered

@@letsplaysaschagd9331 Yeah, you definitely confused Asa with someone else. His summareviews make it apparent that he's a big fan of the character interactions that stem as a result of conflict. Whenever he gets around to uploading the video that corresponds to the first volume of Arc 8, you may be surprised at just how much he has to say about the moments between Subaru and _those two_ characters. You know who they are, but I won't say it in a comment on an anime-only video.

in my opinion, doing it as one big episode is a lot easier to stomach for people than the same content but spread out over 4 weeks. it means that the hype for rezero will hit a high!
