I hate when people present it as a redemption story because yeah, it’s not about that. Paul’s story is actually about redemption, a man who after learning the responsibilities of being a father tries his absolute hardest to bring his family back together, no matter the cost since he understands another mistake will overturn everything he’s ever achieved in his life. Rudy’s story is not about redemption, it’s about maturity. At 17 he became a shut in, and at 34 he dies, so 50 percent of his life is him being a gooner, he’s never matured from the moment of his trauma and never advanced in any way. It’s only when he’s sent to this world he starts growing again. Rudy gets over his fear of leaving his home because of roxy. Rudy’s creepy moments with Eris almost completely stop after the teleportation incident because he understands how serious the situation was. Rudy reuniting with his father, where they both realize they’ve undermined the other’s suffering. Rudy reflecting on how his parents and brother’s must’ve felt when seeing Norn’s breakdown. He doesn’t have some huge redemption arc regardless, the mere fact that through interacting with his family and others on an emotional level, and he gets positively impacted by them as much as they’re affected by him, makes it so fulfilling to watch. MT fans throw “redemption” around recklessly prolly because of vinland sagas influence. I love MT and if the author got his disgusting fetishes out of this story, thats a big “if”, I’d recommend it to anyone. Yap sesh done!

Kagurabachi cliffhanger need to be studied because the hype i get everytime i finished a chapter is unreal. Cloud gouger, bone flame, store house, john hishaku, mei shred, isou. All of the reveal this events happen repeatedly but was space out so well that you feel hype everytime you read a chapter.

The first chapter spoke to me, I now know what it means to live, when I saw the words "all right" I realized that this is a work of art. Not just any work of art, but the best thing ive ever seen in my life. I can truly die one day and have no regrets. Ive reached perfect harmony with my heart and brain. This manga is the big 3 of all manga. This manga alone stands at the peak of all literature. Its my gospel. Its my bible. Ive started to look in the mirror and recite the name 3 times, hoping it will bring me good fortune. Ive started to day dream about this during school, during life. My grades have started to slip because of this manga. Its all I can think about. Day in and day out. My dreams are starting to just be about swordsmiths. Ive woken up in the middle of the night thinking about swords. I see swords everywhere now. When I look up at the sky every cloud I see is a sword. Or coal. I think this manga is the cure to all diseases and world hunger. I think if I go to a hospital and show someone a SINGLE pixel of this work of art they will be rejuvenated. I think this manga will stop any war that will ever happen. When some government is about to start a war they will read chapter 1 of Kagurabachi and realize its not worth hurting people who could be reading this work of art. Kagurabachi will go on for 1000000 years. This manga will be the longest running manga in history. It will get adapted to an anime as soon as chapter 2 comes out. It will be PEAK. I think enough time has passed for kagurabachi to become the biggest religion everywhere.
