Wicked Implement is my favorite for running around slowing guardians. It's not for everyone, but it's definitely a nice change of pace from everything else in the game. Even when i don't win, I'm always having a good time.

As far as I can tell invis is viable at the highest levels. Im only adept rank plat rank ish though so I won't claim this to be anything other than second hand info. Solar warlock will likely remain in the meta because its the most versatile movement class imo

@@Oblivion9996 Yeah, i agree. The movement of the solar warlock makes imo the current strongest class. The only one that, imo, we can argue that is as good is void titan. Idk about you, and i would like to know, but for me in mk, solar lock is superior to void titan cuz of snap cancel, etc. The hability to get into some crucial places of the map before other people, makes it the most OP class in the game (sorry for the poor english)

I made it to ascendant for the first time this past season but couldn't really break ascendant 2, which was my highest. I feel like Ascendant is just an iceberg with 3 being the 10% at the top and the other 90% of 2 and 1 up to 10k is underwater.

Man. I played a little comp this season and went in platinum, these player types all sounded like my jam until I heard this ascendant one. I think my fun would stop after adept- the chess match of switching guns and classes just doesn’t sound fun to me

like he said in the video, you don't need to crutch on swapping guns & constantly worrying what your opponent is using all the time if you are good enough. i've reached ascendant every season since the comp rework came out and i don't engage in the swap metagame stuff for the most part because it's not fun to me either. people who are truly playing to win (such as people who do recovs because they get paid if they win) can and will abuse it to gain any advantage they can. but if you just want the loot/cosmetics from pvp, you can 100% get every last one of them by playing your own way with whatever build and guns you want.

Rarely see it in my games. Way more passive games give more value to rifts since u get a better jiggle peak by putting it on a corner. When u snipe for long enough u recognise the animation on the ground and aim so the warlcoo walks out into a head shot, it's a habit you see constantly

I hate that the only real "difference" between a top player and the one step down player is that they'll swap loadouts 2-3 times per match. Loadout swapping really needs to go.

I don't find it cringe to change your loadout in the first few minutes. I know that not every loadout will work on every map, but I don't like it that people can switch to their super counters for a minute and then switch back to regular play. I think they could lock loadouts after about 3 min in

it's rough because if you load in with a loadout that's good on most maps and you get a map where it's not so good, you're hosed if locked loadouts are a thing. on the other hand it's weird to spend half of the game menuing too. notswap helps on the exotic armor side of things (in game modes that have it), but it might be too extreme for weapons. maybe swapping a weapon should, like, penalize 10-20% of your super? noticeable penalty, but not a crippling one if something isn't working out.

Dood I NEVER dim swap and I went accendant this season for the first time. I more focused on “how can I outplay opponents useing the junkfood?” And over time u notice that a lot of time there just using it cuz its “op” and they get a big ego and end up use it badly or U just diff them. I mean heck I swear theres a gentleman’s agreement somtimes cuz a lot of the comp ascendant matches I get r just good players useing a good rolled 140 hc and its just a skill match at that point like who can outplay who with the 140 and positioning. Maybe its cuz im on ps5 but I SWEAR accendant got easier at the top by a little. That or I just got better. Probly both. 😂😂🎉🎉

@@JoshuaDonnieBuller Sorry I'm not playing on pc vs ximming Titans. I'd rather play vs 2kd lifetimes over a 0.9 strand hunter. At least when i play high tier players i 1v1 them not AI. Strand is worse than release stasis, and I'm 1.5 in old pvp rules and 1.9 in CM rules trials with roughly 65% winrate this season so ig i can say i have a smidge of experience. The only thing keeping strand back is the bad supers in 3v3 cause its easy to coordinate to teamshoot them.
