ATTENTION FELLOW AROACES!!! I have found an alternative to Valentine's day! The day before valentine's day is the feast day of a certain Saint Modomnoc. He is effectively the patron saint of the bees. It has come forward as a platonic version of Valentine's day. Instead of hearts and chocolate, celebrate with bees and honey! My goal (and yours too if you choose to accept it) is to make everyone more aware of this day and make it an actual celebrated thing! Edit: just wanna say that this isn't just for aroaces, literally anyone can celebrate Saint Modomnoc's day

easy solution: just celebrate platonic love. show appreciation for your friends, do something nice with that one family member you actually trust, or treat YOURSELF to something. 'cuz y'know, self love is also important. love isn't strictly romantic or sexual, you can just have fun like everyone else.

One alternative to Valentine's day is to celebrate it like we do in Finland. In Finland it's called "ystävänpäivä" aka friend's day. Tell your friends (pets are also friends) that you care about them.
