Sure it's an ego boost but that's it, then I think of how they treat their own men as a result of this "want" and I realise that there's probably very little if anything we actually connect over. If I was born a different skin colour they probably wouldn't even give me the time of day, and any illusion of romance falls apart. Obviously this isn't every case, just something I've experienced a few times now, and decided to stop enabling it.

My first three crushes/first two "girlfriends" (this was in elementary school) were Hapas. In fifth grade, it was an Asian girl, and then in middle school, it was a Latina. I’m Filipino and the last 4 women I’ve dated have been white. 2 of them from the apps, 2 of them I met organically. I haven’t been able to connect with an Asian woman since 2016 for some reason! And I still see many Asians regularly. No idea why this is.

I have a high school friend who up until now has only had white girlfriends. His circle of friends is also mostly non-Asian (predominantly white) people as well. The thing is, we don't live in an area where theres barely asian people. As a matter of fact we live in a city with one of the highest populations of Asian people outside of Asia. And yet he's only had white girlfriends. He said he doesnt like Asian girls and I should've pressed him more about that and I regret that I didn't. He's still my friend but yeah point is there are a few Asian guys although not many that also have that internalized racism.

Going to disagree with David here..I'm an Asian guy in Dallas who mainly dates "white MAGA" types. Most liberal females here at least who "complain about white men" all the time do so...because they're only open to date white men. Your typical "MAGA" white dude/gal I know as friends are always trying to throw white women in my direction too. Not saying it's all cut this way though it tends to be the tendency. Enough of the white worshippers (male/female) that exist across heritage. I am male and mixed ancestry between Celtic Irish and Native Mexican Indigenous and New Mexican Indigenous. Different lighting and angles can make me look white passing and other times mixed race passing with my eye shape (which look similar to se Asians, e asians, some Polynesians and native central indigenous Americans). Furthermore I have medium/full lips combined with hazel eyes that are both light and dark, hair that is light and dark, and skin that can burn and tan, with more body hair than even some pure caucasians. All this to say I am sick of white worshippers, because of the fact that I have Caucasian sprinkled in my blood and I am male and sometimes I appear white and I don’t want to deal with people that are only attracted to me because I appear whitish.

For me, white (asian) girls always like me even in 1987 when i was 8. From elementary school, high school, to college. Only thing was i was shy, poor family, and social awkward, not really how sure how attracted them, they are all pretty too, too bad i didnt take the chance to persuaded them. One actually cried because i didnt get her anything for valentine's day. Looking back, i think she took the Physic class just to be with me since i dont think she is in engineering. Shy? If you have real japanese or real chinese men (which did grow up in their country), they are definitley not shy. Of course everybody is individual and shy people exist, but its not average. Often foreigners misunderstand politneness with being shy. In public they are maybe more on distance, but when being alone in a private place (like at somebodys home), well ... 😏🔥 I think the east asian men who did grow up in a foreign, western country have more tendency to be shy because they are a minority. Probably they did face some discrimination, which is leading to a lack of confidence.

As an Asian dude, I don't care who strangers choose to date. I also take no issue whatsoever if my Asian female friends date non-Asians. It's none of my business and I couldn't care less. You do whatever makes you happy lol.

Maybe if you guys made up your own terms, you’d have better luck attracting them. It might seem trivial to people who can’t understand how social dynamics work, but if you want a “movement” etc to last, you gotta give people an identity to claim in order to participate in it. It’s like the Fung Bros, always say, Asians can’t just copy and paste white / black racial issues. Y’all need to make it your own in some way. all this tells me is: people are attracted to whatever is "in" in hollywood / main stream media. when twillight came out, women wanted guys wo looked pale like vampires. back in the 80s when they watched baywatch, they wanted tanned sunnyboys. As a middle eastern guy, i'm just waiting my turn. i hope the "Dune" movies will make us more attractive because there are a lot of oriental references

Asian here. The females in my family and cousins all married White guys. The males are either not married or got a wife from the mainland. Strangely enough, growing up I only wanted White girls but now I've actually had a desire for my own Asian ethnicity. Thing is, I don't want a fobby one and the ABCs are into Whites still. It is what it is.

Western raised Asian women are THE biggest self haters, sellouts and traitors (your example is proof, along with many Asian families in the West). It is pointless to pursue a group of women that have literally turned their backs on their own men and cultures. As a tall WM I know I can turn a corner and pass someone taller and I see tall asians that try and straighten there backs to look taller, and I feel they just need to chill and stop caring...
