We have great selection of Asian vegetable seed for sale. Thank you very much for your support.
In this video I will show you how I turned lawn into a small vegetable garden in three days.
Questions bellow are discussed:
How to remove grass?
Where should we put our vegetable garden?
Can I use weed barrier, paper board or newspaper to cover up the grass and build my vegetable garden on top?
What is thickness of soil that a vegetable garden should have?
How to build garden edge?
How to improve garden soil?
Thank you very much for watching!

Thank you for this it was easy to understand and got the point across on what is needed and not long and drawn out I tried watching other videos and it felt really complicated and this seems a lot easier too. Thank you.

Thank you! everyone else in these "beginner" videos tend to bloviate and not get to the real question at hand.

finally I found a simple video using simple cheap tools. all other video's I've been finding seem to assume everyone have a tiller machine or something... So yeah thankyou for showing how it's done with simple hand tools ^^ I did want to ask though, would it be a good idea to put all the grass into a composter? or would that just create weed problems in the future?

I agree with your method 100%. This is exactly the way I created my garden space, except I didn't frame it with wood or block. Eventually, I will use block as you recommended. I was very pleased with the quality and production of my vegetable garden. Love that you included your daughter and her pet in the video! 💚

Hi Dolly, the block is more expensive to install. But consider the fact that wood will be rotten in 2~3 years and block lasts forever, I think block worth the price.

Be careful which grass you have before doing this. Get a professional to look and see that bermuda and torpedo grass (bad in Florida) are not there. Those and maybe others can have roots down 2 feet and once in your bed you may have to empty the bed and start over.

Thank you for this video. I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area and just got done digging out the grass to start a small area to plant some Juniper trees. ... and yessss some of those roots are DEEP! I think I'll put a layer of newspaper or cardboard before I pour in the garden soil.

Well the soil beneath my lawn is like concrete and can't dig it over, it's surrounded by large trees, floods during bad weather and the property is rented - so that rules me out !!!!!
