Most people think that Asians are born with it, we're not. We were forced to learn as soon as we could crawl. Our parents limited free time, and you even had your friends vetted to avoid bad influences. Most of us had private tutors, extra classes at night and in the weekends, there were even more classes during the holidays, and everything was geared towards our careers. Free time was for learning an instrument or playing tennis with the son of your father's coworker. Teenage suicide is highest in places like Korea, Japan, Singapore and China. Take my word for it, don't do what we did. Give your children a childhood.

You are so right. Asian parents push you so hard. I sooo fit into the Asian kid stereotype. GT ILA, Algebra II, Varsity tennis, Violin, Flute, honors classes everything. -_- All I need now is to play the piano.

MegaDragonXII White's may well be lazy. But Asian cant afford to and get anything except low grade's. Discipline is another word Asian's use when their parents beat them for failing.
@MegaDragonXII10 жыл бұрын
Jack Hand Thoughout out my life and all my asian friends life NO ONE ever got beaten for getting a bad grade. We were just taught when we were young to aim high because we have the potential too. White can be high achieving too, but most choose not to,

As a kid in middle school, all I want is for everybody to one day not judge others by what they're skin color or ethnicity is,but to judge others by how they act towards others and to themselves. However, this will take a miracle because hate is a continuous never-ending cycle. Hate just creates more hate,revenge, and vengeance.

+good one I got bullied once and I called the cops. Problem solved. I don't care when and where is happened. I am an American, I got assaulted. If they wanna be put in jail. it's fine. I told them if they wan to keep assaulting me, I would need to purchase a pepper spray or a tazer to protect myself and wear body camera. I told them if they want to step up the game, bring it on until one of us is dead.
@SniperPIKACHU8 жыл бұрын
+SniperPIKACHU Oh and I forgot to mention the part that he keep yapping and saying bs that makes no sense. I got annoyed and I said: I am bored of your trash, you hate me so much right? *Pull out a cutter and throw it on the ground* Here, pick that cuter up and f*cking stab me bitch. Then he finally shut up. Bullies are slightly mentally sick people. To deal with crazy people you need to be crazier. Of coz the cutter blade was very short, even if he really try to stab I don't suffer much damage and I could have him put in jail and have a peaceful school life. It's 1 stone 2 birds.... I mean either hit one of the birds (objectives) lol. The lesson is that if you (bullies) wanna be badass, be all the way bad, be as bad as a murder or a serious criminal don't be half baked bad. It's just pathetic. I don't care if your father left you when you were 2 months old and shit. You (bullies) are not the only one have tough lives.

The problem is the scene at the end "...we hang out with our own kind." If we all hang out with everyone else outside of our own race there'd be less racism, because everyone else gets EDUCATED about who you are and about your culture etc. Get out of your comfort zone! When people don't understand things they tend to HATE or FEAR it.

1st question - we do call them that sometimes, but since not all white people originate from Europe (some examples are Algeria, Turkey, Lebanon, etc) it may be just more appropriate to say "white American". 2nd question - I don't experience that at all. In fact, I only got sensitive to it when I moved to Europe. Unlike America, white Europeans didn't steal any European land from some other group (only amongst themselves :-) ), so I can better relate to that question been asked over there.

It is totally normal, imagine being a white guy in asia; I had seen that before and it is even worse being an asian in america, they (white people) only look at you (asian) once and that's it, but in asia they (asian) probably staring at you (america) until you go. Think about it for a second. But I don't know If this is my personal opinion or what, I find that this issue newer happen to me (I am asian but I am not living there anymore).
@aritin525910 жыл бұрын
Not really the same for me. In my place, there's a misconception (I'm just saying we're all equal) that Americans are better than Asians, smarter and just way ahead of Asians. We actually have a foreigner in our school and we treat her how we treat others. I don't know about where you live, but compared to America, bullying here isn't that big. There's always that fight with friends but we try to stick ourselves together.
@user-fc7gh4fk7i9 жыл бұрын
yeah, it's not like Asian countries have diverse ethnicity like in the West. 1.3 billion people in China 50 mil in Korea and 130 mil in Japan don't have even a half a million of white or black people. I'd believe if someone told me that they have less than 0.1 mil. And they will be like "So, that's what a white man looks and acts like". People, white people had done a circus and zoo with black people in it. So an observation from a far away should be treated as such? Observation is on everyday basis of our lives. It's not racism it's curiosity
