I ran 31 miles in them yesterday and just hit 400 miles. They’re still definitely holding up well but will probably retire them soon.

I'm noticing the unprotected foam in the frontfoot is taking a beating after like 150 km. It's not affecting the run for the moment. Hopefully the shoe keeps on performing and feeling great. It's the best running shoe I experienced untill now for those easy 10+ km runs. Just hope it will be holding up at least 600km...

I use the Novablasts 4 for my long runs and faster days like tempo runs and workouts. From my experience, if you use these shoes specifically for that they tend to die out quicker as i only have a little over 250 miles on them and they are already starting to tear along the bottom and the foam is definitely starting to get worn out. I pair this shoe with the Gel-Nimbus 26 and I use those for my everyday runs and easy runs. Personally, I like the shoe but if you use them for what i do they tend to wear out quicker

Great and informative Video Thank you!! Do you think the Novablast 4 will provide enough cushioning for the Comrades Ultra marathon 86km? Where speed is not that important due to the 86km distance and uphill profile ( 1 600metres of elevation) support amd cushioning is more important the Nimbus 26 @ 304grams is just to heavy for my liking

@@Fozzee.1970Was thinking about the Superblast but is it legal to race marathons in them due to the the fact that the stack height is 44mm i think the legal limit is 40mm or does this only apply for Elite runners?

I agree with most of what you said. I will just add that the rubber is rubbish :) in wet. I don't mind, not running on any technical wet terrain. Upper runs hot. We are not in summer yet, but we had 30C race day and towards the end it was really unpleasant. Other than that it's a great universal workhorse shoe for a great price and good durability (compared to Hokas). I just hit 200k yesterday and they feel like new. What i would wish for Nova 5? Breathable upper, 2 layer foam (softer on top, stiffer on bottom), lighter ( there are just chunks of foam i could cut off on the Nova 4 and still run in them just fine), better rubber (also doesn't have to be that thick).

The Novablast 4 is a great daily trainer. I agree, it's a universal workhorse for sure, and it can do so much for you, especially at a great price point. - Brandon

Which one should i choose over Novablast 4, Mach 6 and NB Rebel 4 to replace my 800km Endo Speed 3? or just get another pair of 3 or 4 instead😅?

TLDR: Mach 6 might be the best budget option, but you will probably be happier with Speed 4. Accidentally i have all the 4 at home (Nova4, Mach 6, Rebel v4, Speed 3). I'm just a middle of the pack runner (4:45/km 10k pace), mid to forefoot striker. I enjoy the Nova 4 but it's more protective than fast. Lots of padding for long runs. Doesn't have such a smooth roll off feeling as Speed 3. It's heavier, chunkier and running pretty hot.I wouldn't buy it to replace the Speed 3. Mach 6 and Rebel 4 is a different story. I only had one run in Mach 6 and Rebel I only tried inside. Mach 6 is pretty close to the Speed 3, narrower (so i did get the wide version). The stack feels similar, rocker feels similar. It's just missing a tiny bit of pop from that plate but might be a good budget consious replacement. Rebel v4 - take that with a grain of slat as i haven't properly run in them and going to send the back. I liked the lightness, roomy toebox and airy upper. But it has a weird bulge of foem in the middle and pretty low forefoot stack. Also the foem is marhmallowy soft. So my concerns were that it will flat out quickly and i might need more forefoot stack. I ordered the elite v4, comes today. I'm very curious.

@@Maochan81Thanks for the details advice, just the right opinion which I'm looking for. My pace is slightly slower than yours and I do owned the Rebel V2 and found it too soft and durability is on the poor side and Mach 6 is selling at a higher price as compared to Rebel V4 due to conversion and I most likely not getting Novablast 4 due to breathability and traction issue (especially in hot & humid weather in South East Asia), will probably get another pair of Speed 3 or Speed 4 if I really like it after tried it at outlet once launch over here.👍👍

If you enjoyed the Speed 3, then you will love the Speed 4. The speed is more aggressive than the Novablast 4, so if you want something a bit softer then the Novablast 4 or Rebel 4 would be good picks. If you want a fun, fast and firmer ride, go Mach 6. - Brandon
