Land Rover (Defender) owners normally have a good sense of humour, so join us as Chris takes us on a 'semi'-serious tour around the outside of their 110 ExTec RR Concept camper conversion. This is part 1/2 where we focus on some of the details regarding the exterior of the Defender.

Have you guys thought of doing a comedy duo? Lol. Seriously guys, that's a good bit of gear. I like the way the solar panel was moved from the rear to the front. It must be closer to the Sun there anyway.

Glad you enjoyed it - was fun to make (spur-of-the-moment and unscripted by the way). Sometimes you just 'gel' and as Chris put it: '...have you ever met a Defender owner you didn't like?'

Enjoyable review. I also liked the interior in Part 1, being designated to the women. With Part 2 being the blokes review. Probably my favourite feature is how the two rear doors are being used to access externally. I think that's very good. But a lovely Landy that I hope brings you much joy and many adventures. Thanks again.

Thanks, good to hear. We own a three-door Defender (the camera crew ;-) Which may be as close to a Troopy as you can get? It has its pros and cons - sometimes searching for stuff just behind the seats from out back can be a touch challenging... But woudn't change it!

Hi, great video, great Defender, great humor. Can you tell me by what company the awning is made? Which model it is? I think its the first awning I have seen so far on a Landy, that doesn't look out of place.

Hi, it is a Fiamma, but I don't know the model number, perhaps this one:www.fiammastore.com/Motorhome-Awnings-by-Fiamma/Fiamma-F35-Pro-Minivan-and-4x4-Awning Yes, it is quite compact and subtle. Hi, the water heater is made by a company called: Elgena. The rear side locker is from 'RR Concept' - the company that assembled the vehicle, near Lyon in France, but could be part of the 'kit' that comes from ExTec in Germany. Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for watching
