You couldn’t have gave a better example on high vol pump and the egg beater. I think we’ve all seen that one. If I had been in the market I would’ve bought the idea and had problems so glad to learn.

High volume has bigger rotor gears and moves more oil. High pressure just has the pressure relief set to open at a higher pressure.

11:06 the over pressure relief could be opening, or cam bearings and i don't care for a high volume oil pump either, unless the clearances are wide. First thing id do is try thinner oil, then if that has poor outcome, try 20w50

@@2packs4sure Ohh ok I’ve always known about it because I’ve got a lot of SB’s and some are really bad shifted. As far as what applications that might be used for idk but I’m fixing to use one that’s bad shifted and bored .060 for a wrecker which of course will be low RPM I’m hoping it will be okay but I am concerned about overheating. It wasn’t sonic checked for thickness on the thin side so we’ll see.

I wonder if anyone ever used nickel filler wire, and a tig welder to give heads casting #'s ? Seems its possible, with work. Some grinding, filing, and acid etching. Maybe a needle scaler to get that cast look. Maybe a bit of sand blasting. Then paint the inside of the head. Definitely a milling machine could get the numbers all even, it could turn a set of dart, or bowtie heads into a set if 70's smog heads by the #'s haha . probably the cadting marks also. Id hate to remove the bowties from s set of heads tho.. going from a set of 75 1/2ton truck heads to a set of dart heads would double the power!😂

People nowadays are not Mechanics... they're part replacer's! Our youngest just got a 3000gt overheating & a leaking radiator. He said "i need to save for a new one." I told him "how do you know, you haven't tried to fix it?" 🤯 Then i started thinking & asking people if they new anyone who has fixed a radiator? NONE!... How about a starter,...alternator... anything??? Parts are 50/50 shot you'll have to return to parts store after installing & removing A NEW ONE!!! 😡 I TRY TO FIX EVERYTHING, cause chances are you'll be changing it again within a year 🤔(maybe twice! )
