Your channel is honestly such a godsend to the Ktube community. You've only been here for two months?? I feel like you've already made such a mark. I can't wait to see what else you put out. Ps. I know you're still figuring out what kind of content you want to make. But, let me just say. Your "What if you woke up as a Kpop idol?" video, is like ONE OF THE BEST KTUBE VIDEOS I'VE EVER WATCHED. It's so creative; putting the audience in the first person lense of what it's like to be an idol was so cool and scary!

Thank you so much!! I appreciate it more than I can say. I was honestly so reluctant about posting that one because I was worried that it might come off as boring, cheesy, whiny, etc. I thought that using the text-to-speech voice might save me time producing it, but that was anything but the case because there was still a lot of learning curve affiliated with getting that to sound remotely natural. I was less confident posting it than any other video I've submitted so far, so I am so grateful to hear that the finished product was worth all the trouble. If nothing else, it was at least a fun opportunity to flex my "theater kid" muscles again for the first time in a while.

I think that your captions are a must have, they look cool and make it easier for people who either can’t hear that well (or hear at all) or have to have the volume low to watch the video and understand it.

Unfortunately, despite how often TWICE's MVs may make appearances in my own videos, I am not actually a ONCE, so I don't think I'd be the right person to make such a video. 😔 However, fortunately @choujimi has a bunch of tremendously insightful TWICE videos up already, some of which are among the most popular on his channel, so go check him out if you haven't previously!

I personally appreciate the addition of captions in every video of yours. I'm both a non native English speaker and I have a very light suspicion that I have some slight audio processing issues, so having captions genuinely helps me a lot

I have some minor auditory processing issues as well, and attempting to parse words in another language without seeing them written out is something of a nightmare for me. Also, the Korean romanization system (if you can even call it that) is SO BAD that it's a miracle anyone can read it at all. I'm glad you find them helpful!

I’m completely on board with you regarding the lore! I don’t want homework to feel like I can fully enjoy my faves. Also, in this installment of “are we the same person?” Also severely ADHD and most likely autistic. And have three cats, and had a cat named Marla who passed. But I know nothing about nuclear power. I’m historically not much of a GG fan but I’m really enjoying Young Posse too! It appears you’re mainly a GG fan. Do you have any boy groups you like?

Nooooo, unfortunately, I misspoke because I was misinformed over 20 years ago by a significantly less-robust interwebs. Evidently it was by a -band- called Bóa, not BoA the kpop idol. Surely you can see why the two might have been conflated, haha.

Nice! I'm glad you found me, too! I think my channel is proof that it really is possible to start a successful KZfaq in 2024. I had hoped to get to 1K subscribers in the space of a year, so making it there in under two months was beyond my wildest dreams. You can totally do the thing!

If I ever don't comment on a video it's usually coz' I think what I wanna comment is dumb (either it's the exact thing in the video or something completely out of context but sometimes I comment the same stuff in the video without realising it) or someone else pointed out what I wanted to or either I simply don't know what to say or have too much to say. This is one of those videos. I'm happy my question got in :D but at the time I made comment I forgot your cat, I remember now obviously but it went over my head. Hyperempathy is one of the less-advertised symptoms, but I have it in spades. Whenever I see other people being awkward, I feel like I am the one being awkward myself. It's so brutal. 😭 Sorry that you have to deal with this, too. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

@@overthinkingkpop Literallyyy. I feel like awkward/embarrassing situations trigger my hyperempathy even more because, I know what it feels like to not socially perform well and how mortifying it is. Like one of my worst fears is not masking well and knowing allistics are looking at me weird. So, seeing others in situations where they don't look socially favorable makes me feel sick to my stomach.

@@Jayegato Yesssss ugh 😭 I am what neurotypical people might describe as "overly direct" in real life, which has yielded innumerable instances of me shoving my foot so far down my throat it comes out my ass, so those scenes in particular just make me want to curl up in a ball and scream uncontrollably. Equally unpleasant but somewhat more amusing is how I feel as if I, personally, am the one being physically harmed when I watch other people in pain. Watching "Jackass" is a visceral experience of nearly-unparalleled misery for me.

@@overthinkingkpop This is sooo real, I remember as a kid, horror movies would make me so uncomfortable (despite my being so interested in them) because I felt like **I** was the one dying on screen. Like I would genuinely feel tingles of pain through my body, it was so weird. Also this is why I can't watch shows that depict autistic people in a way that caters to allistics or shows that exploit them. Like love on the spectrum made me soo uncomfortable because it was framed like these real people were just characters in a zoo. And then the good doctor would make me feel soo bad when I'd find tiktok clips of it

@@overthinkingkpop yeah this may or may not be important information but I’m canadian (literally the land of people that apologize for everything) with a massive fear that people are and probably will be mad at me one day because I overstepped. I know it’s probably some form of PTSD from previous events in my life. But it doesn’t pair well with my pre existing ADHD, ADD, General anxiety, among other things. I know it’s annoying and it’s most definitely affected my relationships on and off Ktube, so if it ever gets too annoying just treat me like a bar goer that’s had one too many drinks, and refuse service, and then do with my comment what you want too.
