Aaah, another one! Really enjoyed the first one, super keen for the second ☕ It feels like you've just been consistently putting out such great stuff and been learning a lot from the clinics, it's awesome to see, hope you go far 🏆

The office I worked at does a 3D impression system and we email off our scans to Glidewell and they send us a crown in 3 days. The crowns they send us really amazing fitting crowns that have very very little to no adjustments needed on them and look SO good. They are made of bruxir zirconium if I remember right. Also, the assistant is able to use the scanner so I was able to do "final" impressions which normally isn't done by the assistant. AND I as an assistant fabricated all the temps or prelims.. whatever yall call it there. It frees up the dentist out of the appointment like 15-20 mins early to go on to other patients. We also had cadcam systems in the building that became big giant paper weights because it was just inefficient for our big busy office to mill out crowns the same day. This was the stuff I did as an assistant where I was just like "why am I not a dentist?!" The doctor just comes in and preps this tooth and I DID everything else! LITERALLY! Then I imagined the patient paying for the crown in cash by setting in on the table and the doctor grabs that big fat stack of cash and hands me 20$ and then has to ask me for 7$ back because I don't make that much an hour lol I literally up and quit my job at like a pin drop to go to become a dentist... and hopefully you remember me Mr. Stephen cause you made a whole video basically FOR me lol I just want you to know I love seeing that you are doing so great. You still inspire me so much and I'm still grinding away. I plan on reaching out to you when I have a personal statement ready and asking what you think about it... I haven't started it just yet, but you gave me the idea of what to focus it around and I would just love for you to read it and hear your thoughts on it when that time comes. I'm officially a senior this year, but I need to come back and take physics, so still a ways to go. But you keep up the great work, friend! It's crazy to me you are already 3rd year. Time is literally flying by! The days seems so long but the years feel so short! I hate it! Take care, man!

I completely agree that dentistry makes you come out of your shell. I'm a dental assistant (and a total introvert) but I've definitely developed some cool relationships with unlikely people, and skills in building those relationships!
