Welcome back to another episode of The Viall Files: Ask Nick Edition! We’re back to answer your burning questions about the world of dating and relationships. Before getting to our callers, we discuss Amanda’s trip to Vegas, Ali matching with a British man on Hinge, and we Yay-SMR a listener who ended a 10 year long situationship. Finally, we have our most recent Breakup Song of the Week submission. Our first caller is debating pursuing the woman her ex girlfriend cheated on her with. Do they have a connection, or is the instinct out of spite? Our next caller has a long distance boyfriend that has a lot of opinions and criticisms of the outfits she wears. We discuss that it might be less about the outfits, and more about a lack of trust in their relationship. Our final caller is debating how to handle running into her fitness coach now that their relationship has ended. Should she leave her gym, or try to muscle through?

Caller 2: buried the lede with "my bf talks in a gross way about women with his friends." The long and short of it is: your bf doesn't respect women. You can waste time and energy trying to talk and make him understand etc. But he's still misogynist. DTMFA. You're 21 and long distance. Be single and enjoy your life for a little bit! And wear whatever tf you want without worrying about what some guy thinks!

2nd caller 100% should ditch this relationship. I guarantee you his locker room talk is the reason he “knows what guys think” (which is just a BS statement anyways, plenty of guys aren’t going to the gym for the girls). If he thinks your clothes are immodest and you think his locker room talk is inappropriate then you either both need to be willing to change or you need to break up. Neither of you should be monitoring each other, and if you won’t change your clothes/class of friends for your relationship then the relationship frankly isn’t a very good one and likely won’t be very healthy.

Nick saying the first woman has apologizing to do. To that woman - no you don’t. That man can do his own apologizing and is responsible for his own life. You are not responsible for his life. You are only responsible for yours. No one to apologize to except yourself. One of the worst and most insensitive takes I’ve ever heard on this show.

I love & like your new studio & furniture ! How do some people live in this country? When we were poor, you had a bucket of soapy water and a dish rag to clean house! Than you buy under clothes at Kohls ,in burbank, Il. and get a rash! Hydrocortisone cream is the answer to this America! Why do some people stick their nose into somebody's Ethnic? You would think that they own the store or somebody's Ethnic! How backward is America? Time to Leave this country, nobody has to take abuse from over run people! The hospitals have their work cut out for them. All the education in the USA has resulted in others having to be backward, because all the tools are being abused!
