I'm Spanish _English Translator and I have fluency in both of them, I'm trying to study French and I've found your content and what I want to say that you're Mrs such a great and gorgeous person I really do love your way when you deliver the information easily and in a quite simple manner event hough everybody knows how difficult is French as a foreign language but at the other hand when you're the teacher it becomes so easy and extremely understandable Wish you the best of luck and please keep going for everyone

it´s possible to use combien when asking people ages? or it´s mandatory to use only phrases like quel age tu as? (avoir) amazing videos btw

Hey, I know this question is old, but if it might help someone... We don't use combien with how old someone is. Someone would understand what you were saying, but its not used (ex: Tu as combien d'années? We use: Quel est ton âge or C'est quoi ton âge?) Combien + a year typically means how many years ago, or it's been X amount of years that... Hope this helps:)

Bonne classe, Madame Polidoro. J'ai une question: La parole "beaucoup", elle doit avoir "de" si on réponde à "combien de" et elle ne doit pas avoir "de" si on réponde à "combien", n'est-ce pas? Par exemple: Combien d'élèves y a-t-il dans la classe? -Il y a beaucoup d'élèves. Combien sucre veux-tu pour le café? Beaucoup sucre (or beaucoup de sucre, ça je ne sais pas)

Je pense que "combien coûte ce livre?" c'est facil It is shorter and easier to remember. Frances es muy similar al español. I am fully fluent in English and Spanish; therefore, your classes fit me perfectly.

Hi, could anyone explain why est-ce que follows directly after combien in the example about students but not in the example about apples where est-ce que comes after "de pommes"? Thank you kindly :)

This is because combien is mostly used with verbs not nouns and combien de is used for nouns so because there was no verb in front of pomme we added de

because it is a phrase like beaucoup de, tant de, un peu de, where no matter what you need to have the de before the things and it is always de regardless of being plural
