My dad played wow with 2 accounts. One with a hunter as his main which would be nothing more than "pet attack. Auto attack." (fails to feign death, interrupting shot, wing clip or anything else. Basically just spam what wasnt on cooldown) and the second character, on /follow, with "heal" on the 1 key. He'd just reach over and press 1 on the second computer's keyboard any time he'd be low on health. Im not joking. Hes been subbed since 2004. and still plays to this day.

This is my absolute biggest complaint with FFXIV. Everything is obsoleted by level... Absolutely EVERYTHING. And there is no uniqueness to any gear, it's all just slightly higher stats...

erm, no.

doing all the dungeons is easy... minus stocks for horde or RFC for allies. Raids are so easy they aren't that fun. Reputations are a boring grind not that entertaining to watch.

most Pservers just upped the armor, damage, and hit points of the mob, mob resistances was upped really, so physical damage classes got hosed more on private servers.

I don't think so I doubt his mic is hot enough for such a sudden spike. I'm pretty sure it's the mic stand squeaking. needs wd40 and more importantly a shockmount

​@@Buhnkiller There are ways to recognize that investment. Example, Dota 2 used to have an account level and items drops would occur at milestones. When they reworked this system into the league system, they made a "trophy cabinet" for your public profile. You select the order of the cabinet and the top three trophies are beside your name if people hover over it in the score board or visit your profile. Valve credited players with a set of trophies recognizing their your old account level before that system was turned off. When they made changes to their item system, they turned a gem that was placed in the inventory as a recognition of beta players that had invited people to the game into a trophy to display as well. If you hover over an unranked profile in dota, and they have 100+ account level trophy and this gem displayed, it means that someone who's played over 3000 hours of dota has returned after a break, they might be rusty, but they're not a beginner. Blizzard could easily do the same, but it would take a lot of work categorizing existing achievements and working out a trophy system. They key with the Dota system is how well they've communicated what the different trophies mean, from humble silver cup to ornate ribbons and stars for the highest levels. There's detailed text descriptions on what the item is for when hovered over, a new player who has no idea can see at a glance gauge how experienced that player is. It's a "big old epeen" measurement and it's very effective, like purple hearts, you might not know why someone has one of them but if they've got 10, they're a really big deal. A similar system in WoW could still give you massive bragging rights and remove the sting out of "starting again" by giving your recognition that no other new player could ever get.

Honestly any way you slice it, the future of Warcraft is having WoW2 at some point. Heck, give us WC4 and a couple of expansions in the interim to set up the story. Part of the problem with WoW now is that Blizzard killed it by 1,000 small cuts for old players, and it's too ancient, bloated, and confusing for newbies to appreciate. Oldfags want to rush through everything so they can sit bored at max, Newfags feel like they're wasting their time leveling and making the trip - so much so that many just quit or don't bother getting started. New game means a fresh new experience for everyone, a level playing field, Blizzard can scrap shit that hasn't worked properly but is too late to remove. You know what I'd love? Flying reworked. Instead of just being there so you can ignore content, give us new things to discover after we earn it. Quests on top of plateaus, have something like a cave city carved into a cliff face that you have to fly to if you want to access it the first time. They have the tool, why are they not using it?

The dude has streamed like 2 days worth of classic. The severs where down so he watched a few videos. Also people watch him for his personality not what he's doing. Another thing is this isn't Asmongold's KZfaq channel.

He doesn't make reaction videos, he's watching a few videos on stream because people ask him, get your facts right next time

The reason why reaction videos are popular is that u get the feeling of watching smth together, and actually having someone who could comment on what you are watching, like Asmo do, i never played WoW past lvl 5 but the way he comments videos is his content
