It's called multibox farming, and botting. I'd wager a good chunk of people who played vanilla went on to get programming degrees/jobs so they now know coding languages. It isn't hard to make a bot. Also before multiboxing was banned I did quite a few Strats/scholo/DM with my lock, 3 friends mage alts and a guildies priest. It was actually pretty fun and watching runes/orbs/enchanting mats/crystals sell was even more fun. I could easily see someone reaching gold cap relatively quickly within the time limit of a singe phase. I made 10k when I did it casually the first month of the pandemic.

Why? If you're willing/to plan on spending that much, I think its safe to say that first bid at gold gap all but gurantees you said item. If you see someone bid say, 1k gold, all you gotta do is shut em down to ensure you get the item.

Generally speaking KT clearing GDKP runs are pretty rare and being plugged in with a guild competing for world firsts does say a lot about your ability to play your class at a semi-competent level. What is most likely is that this entire thing is a stunt for reddit clicks and they put that gold together for the trade window screenshots. I'm just saying having 200k is not indicative at all of RMT. Gressil for 200k isn't insane either. We had an AQR sell for 115k on my server. The guy was just a regular dude who boosted a shitload.

Too many actual players playing the game, auction house being player driven. 1 month into the game and nobody will need gold anyway. It isnt like classic where you use 6-10 different consumes in raids. you only use two, 1 flask, 1 food buff. that will cost you a total of what? 100gold? you earn that amount back during the raid.

@@villiam872388 that’s not necessarily true depending on how Blizz rolls out the content. There was a point where super hardcore BC raiders had to farm 15+ consumes for raid. Hirumaredx has a video about it.

@@kylechermak7092 TBC content is very simple, you will not need more than 1 flask and 1 food buff. that is also the limit on those buffs. and flasks are much easier to craft in TBC which makes them cheaper. Will check out that guys video to see what hes talking about Edit: Checked out the video, he explained that YES you could use more than 1 potion. BUT that was only possible during very early TBC. in other words, only when Karazhan was the only raid available

just check out the tbc database and look at the questrewards for quests in the first zone hellfire peninsula.

Your classic gear will be obsolete once TBC releases.

when u loot something from a raid, provided u havent equipped it, u have 2h to trade to someone who was online, inside ur raid party, and close to the boss when it was defeated. timmer doesnt go down if u logout btw. this works for every raid btw.

The issue with always losing is that you see all those others succeeding and by the end of a game you feel this emptiness you didn't achieve your goal and you wish you made other choices. Nowadays people are so focused on beating the game rather than enjoying the journey, cause they learned you only have one chance. I played a lot of tbc and I never was able to clear Sunwell. For over 10 years this has been something bothering me from time to time. Seeing how others did it how phenomenal the content looked like I felt I missed out on so much. We as humans have a timer in which we can achieve things before we die and just fun isn't fun if you never achieved something meaningful. Humans are competitive from nature so just fun isn't fun when you always lose. It's expensive, you need to replace people out of your roster cause of dissatisfaction, it's a nightmare. Even back in vanilla guilds broke up so often cause of people burning out of the constant losing and fucking hating it. They might have enjoyed vanilla wow more than now, but they have this deep painful scar of regret for not achieving everything. So it's only logical whenever they released classic and get another chance where they failed previously to achieve their dream. Even if they don't have the same amount of fun, they will be satisfied at the end of the road.

How so? For Wrath servers you need to recreate TBC content anyway. I think it's more about the fact that you either go for pure vanilla experience and end with Naxx, or go for vanilla+ and end with Wrath. Cata and everything after was a massive change so it's in it's own league. But TBC servers don't really make much sense. If you are okay with going beyond vanilla, then might as well take the next step for some extra content, class reworks and a hero class.
