This movie looks like it's going to give a raw and realistic look at the life of paramedics in NYC. Can't wait to see it!
@CosmicGecko672 ай бұрын
Life as paramedic is no different in NYC than it is in LA, Tulsa, Tallahassee. Drugs, debauchery, and death bookend by the occasional moment when you actually do something that makes it worth getting out of bed. Just another playing up paramedics as thrill junkies, psychos, or broken whiners.

My kinda movie. I miss these kinda gritty, early to mid 2000s feel NYC movies. They're my absolute favorite. _25th Hour_ , _Bringing Out The Dead_ , _We Own The Night_ , _Pride and Glory_ , _Brooklyn's Finest_ , _The Son of No One_ , _A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints_ , _Shaft_ , _Girlfight_ , etc. They all got a certain feel to them. I really miss that. A bygone era. It was like _NYC The 1970s: The Sequel: Electric Bugaloo_ . They don't make em no more. Film has changed.

More for the people who mistreat paramedics, waste their time and genuinely don't give them the respect they deserve. Mind you saying that my uncle at end stage kidney failure and paramedics was called in-between 1 + 230am ish and they turned up at 1230pm the following afternoon! He'd be dead if the social workers didn't ring my mum up at 2am like they always do getting my mum who is a carer her self to go and deal with it! I understand they are busy but jesus that's a wait for someone who is about to die anyway. Shouldn't someone in that position be as comfortable as possible, the guys got a bed in the hospital and they discharged him without telling his carers or my mother. Paramedics do their best but NHS/hospital staff ain't the greatest! Sorry to go off on one there people I do apologise. This film looks half decent tbf, looking forward to it's release. ✌🏼

In my bias opinion, it is about time that there is a movie about NYS ems. This movie highlights the harsh reality that is ems and using nyc ems as an example, given current times, is a good way to bring attention to the public who just do not know or understand how bad it can be out there. I think this movie is the most accurate ems portrayal at least from a nyc perspective. It was a pleasure working with the director, actors crew and everyone. It was a unique experience to say the least. Stay safe everyone. Nyc paramedic.

Or at least not a waste if😮your movie. And could generally be counted on to be ok to take a date to. Lol Then as I got a little older, it became Sean Penn, Johnny Depp, and Robert Downey Jr. Looked like Heath Ledger and Phillip Seymour Hoffman were gonna be in that group, but tragically not to be. Of the list I've named some are hit or miss now. Some are crap now. I still however get mildly excited to see a new Sean Penn film being released. He still has it and still picks good scripts.
