Hey guys, I saw this cool feature where you can select which language Ezio can speak. I'm pretty sure it's not new or special but I thought it would make for a decent video. Thanks for watching and I'll see you guys in the next one.

So if you play it in italian, he just speaks normally with no special italian word every so often

I learning Italian with assasin screed it's more easy I think because some works is familiar in portuguese too

Kind of. Every now and then they drop in words from the Florentine dialect.

Well not really, some now and then they speak in the dialect of firenze, with words not usually used in traditional Italian, like different terms and abbreviations of what's usually used in italian

Playing the game as an Italian speaker in the original dub is a really funny but fascinating experience. There are times when you chuckle because of the accent mistakes and times when you're amazed by how good it can be (especially if you compare it to most of the Italian used in foreign movies)

I remember playing it in German, because I understood it a little back then. And when his family dies, you can just hear the pain in Ezio's voice.

I clicked for two versions, one the French one because I'm French "and besides it's more the Canadian French version, you should know that most of the French voices in Assassin's Creed are from Quebec" and the Italian version see what Ezio gives with a real Italian actor and I really liked it. Well in truth the French version is the best, much more charismatic.

Je trouve marrant qu'on entend toujours le fond d'accent québécois dans les AC, malgré l'effort pour sonner comme du français de France, il y a toujours des façons de prononcer les voyelles qui ne trompent pas, c'est d'ailleurs particulièrement flagrant dans Unity !

Tbh, as an Italian, I love the English dub more than the Italian one (comments on the inaccurate accent be damned, it's part of the charm of this game) I don't really like the performance of the Italian doppiatore(VA) they chose to play as Ezio in AC2 and Brotherhood: Renato Novara's voice is too high-pitched in comparison to Roger Craig Smith (I do like his doppiatore in Revelations though, Diego Baldoin as older Ezio is wonderful). I mean, Renato was great for 18 y/o Ezio, but when you get to the latter half of AC2 it just doesn't cut it for me. The real treat of the Italian Dub for me have always been Altaïr's doppiatore in AC1 and the first few memories of Revelations (Paolo De Santis) and Desmond's (Alessandro Rigotti). I swear Paolo sounds exactly like Philip Shabaz if he spoke perfect Italian: same edge, same amazing acting skills, it's a feast for the ears.
