Hyde finally has stuff to say. He's about to carry ALL that weight. He also seems pretty locked on to Orie Route instead of Yuzu's, and he also flat out refuses more association with Nanase, get wrecked. Should also point out Hyde doesn't actually have a unique win line against Wald, I just kept it there cause it fit. Once again reuploaded for forgetting the weirdest one: Hyde and Wagner. Also, Hyde doesn't have an intro with Yuzu but she has an outro if she wins. Hyde's victory line against Yuzu is the one after Seth's.
UNI2 has this new bad habit of having unique intro dialogue but no unique outro or victory line.

Love how Hyde has really come into his own in 2, no more "woe is me" talk, he's confindent and here to settle things for good. Love the respect he shows for Wald and Linne too, bros been grinding to improve. No Yuzu intro is quite strange though, always like the tension with them, even if he clearly likes Orie now, would have been nice to see more about where they stand as friends now that the story has moved forward.

I found out Hyde and Yuzu never get a interaction each other. But They were friends since they were kids from what I’ve her heard from Yuzu’s Chronicle Mode.

Yuzu does. They at least had win lines for each other back in UNI1 too.

Yeah, "something" happened between them when they were younger that Hyde seems to have a hard time with? They didn't say what as far as I know, but it's something that I believe also affected Yuzu. I think she also teases him often, but they always had that big sis lil bro reaction. They could've moved it to a different place in this one, but I guess it makes a lot of sense... maybe we'll find out more, and maybe they'll actually give them an intro when the game releases. Who knows

If you ask me, I wish Phonon would see this so she would learn what ridiculous trouble Nanase dragged Hyde into, because she would be very angry. Nanase may have some knowledge over bad Japanese men like stalkers for example, but she is airheaded that it instead made a misunderstanding for Hyde, because she just brought trouble. That’s why I think Phonon would get angry, because I think in her grade school days, she got her into a lot of trouble. Ones that probably led to misunderstandings and misadventures. Hint, Nanase probably was airheaded that she jumped to conclusions since grade school.

Phonon is just as much of a brat as Nanase is, just a different type. She'd probably feel no sympathy for him.

@@DeepestDankest Think what you will, but I believe that she will get angry that she got someone caught in her airheaded troubles. Because I still believe she got into a lot of troublesome events with her during their grade school days. I mean, this coming from a young woman who has no knowledge of people like “Pick-Up Artists” while her friend has knowledge of such people. Just showing how airheaded she is. Because if you ask me, Phonon is like the opposite of Nanase. So I believe that Phonon would feel sympathy for Hyde, even if he is quite obtuse at times and not that intelligent as Linne would describe him. And given the trouble Nanase gives as she is like the only sane woman who could deal with her personality.

@@DeepestDankest Where was from exactly? The first Under Night In-Birth or the sequel [SYS:Celes]? Because if we are talking about her story mode, then you are referring to the first fight she had with fight, before facing against Nanase, who she has not seen since grade school. Because I have seen her story mode in KZfaq myself.

Can't help but notice how Ryohei sounded so squeaky in his line delivery 🙃. I'll get used to it eventually, but man why did he deliver Hyde's line like this when he sounded completely fine with his other recent voice act roles.

Probably some rushed voice acting to meet schedules, with only few retakes allowed. Hyde's battle voice in original Uniel can't be beaten.

I really hope that they add subs to these intros. Seriously, it could go a long way. Plus, blazblue centralfiction, thanks to lacking an English dub, had a similar problem.

I would have hoped that Arcsys bothered to throw them a bone since they're the ones publishing and handling translations.
