One thing I wish bbtag did was keep the sound effects from unist, some of the moves from the unist characters feel weak to me

LordMufasa The thing that bothers me the most is that the screen shake doesn’t exist in BBTag. It makes really awkward moments like just watching Gordeau hover his scythe for like four seconds instead of the screen shake showing that he’s channeling power.

Love the fact that just before Akatsuki rocks your shit with a punch in his Infinite Worth he says "Clench your teeth!", and Yuzuriha's is pretty classic to me as a fan of Rurouni Kenshin since it's "Aku Soku Zan" "Swift Death to Evil" as made famous by Saito as that is still the code he lives by even after the Bakumatsu.

@@coolmedina117 The first set of Kanji is "Kamikaze" which is the name of the actual super from his original game "Akatsuki Blitzkampf", the second kanji are "Ōka" which translates to "Cherry Blossom" which if you notice, one floats down and disappears just before he snaps his eyes open and delivers the final hit.

@@marrowyoutube Ah, my favorite, I love powerful Axe Kicks in anime and games, If you want to know the Kanji it's "Ikazuchi" which means "Thunderbolt" if you want to know the other quote he says instead of "Chesto" it's "Tenchi Akkai! Ikazuchi!" which is "Heaven and Earth Collapse! Thunderbolt!"

@@dewaynethomas6693 I'll buy any ASW game, but it is clear they aren't for everyone (I'll ask that they try one if they ask for a recomendation though... along side my other usual recomendations UMVC3, Tekken 7, and if they're asking for a great first fighting game I always recomend the latest Street Fighter)

Akatsuki has the best 1 🔥 both of his is dope af. 10/10 for both. Both has a classic animation feel to them, the first super with the flashing of the hands before the combo. And the IW one with the rose 🌹 peddle vanishing than he hits you with that Ryo SNK punch 🔥🔥🔥 his specials are literally what you see in Japanese anime all the time.

Eltnum’s EXIW reminds me of Shadow Labrys’ ultimate from persona 4 arena and I love it! Also eltnum wears PURPLE! I think I’ve found another main besides Linne! And she’s just dope to watch at combo breaker!

Fun fact: what she's summon in EXIW is actually a final boss of her own series, Orisis. Basically, she's just shoved the salt of big boss on Unist characters.. Even Hilda can't compared that too..

Sadly, most supers in this game are rather underwhelming. They are cool in concept or lore but lack build up or impact in comparison to the more flashy moves we have been getting in games as of late.

Luis Pinto I can’t really think of any fighting game that doesn’t have like an 70/30 split on Mediocre/Good supers. Even GG’s instant kills can fall victim to it (sorry Zato).

I think the thing is, that despite the conditions to activate them, Infinite Worth EXS’ aren’t necessarily on the same level as something like an Astral Heat or an Instant Kill. Sure, they do a high amount of damage that will most likely kill the opponent, but they’re not true finishers. And that might be why they’re not as flashy or cinematic as say, an Astral Heat.

I personally don't want it to be a skullgirls situation where valentine had a blockbuster that took about 10 seconds to end, but even then there was an option to skip half of it, making it better I don't really think the supers here need to be overly cinematic like something from guilty gear or p4au, they're simple and get the job done, that's what's supposed to happen, right? it is a fighting game

I mean at the end of the day, it all depends on taste and what you like. There's no objective guideline to what make a super appeal to one person. There are some things that I disagreed with how Sugar rated them in his and agree more here and whatnot.

@@mobileuser7962 I disagreed with his ratings for Seth, Gordeau and a few others. I feel like some of them had nitpicking issues and personally I would rate Gordeau's higher as I find the final scythe slash to be more impactful than the others and for Seth, I dislike how the main point for Seth was that he was compared to other special moves of the same type like maximum spider instead of it being judged on it's own merits within its own series. There are others, but those two are the main ones. There is also Merkava's in which I feel really got hurt by the nitpicks. And I also do not believe Hilda, Chaos or Byakuya's are as bad as he said they were.

Igor Ueda French Bread made Melty Blood in collaboration with Type-Moon. Type-Moon was going to take Eltnam back during development of Under Night but since she was almost done already, French Bread renamed her to Eltnum and replaced her VA. There’s a gag in her arcade mode where it says her scenario is “Type-Moon approved” and she avoids mentioning her backstory to anybody to avoid license disagreements.

For unist: The regular one is half circle forward + d when you have full meter EX is done by pressing all 4 buttons at the same time when you have full meter and your health is in the orange
