I have read that Marengo wants to go back to Spain but then the club seems to want to get Digne out but I think one of those will go dondecker and chambers hauler may be a few more if Duran goes and cash goes they will have to be replaced I also think we might need to get a centre half in case minks is not the same player

PSR is only sorted for 23/24. Still another challenge for 24/25 and I think a lot of fans don't appreciate that. We can definitely spend money. But id guess we probably need v £60-80m of sales by end of next June

Between Moreno and digne I’d get rid of Moreno. Moreno seems to have more interest from outside clubs. Digne loves being at Villa and can be a great role model for maatsen and other young players. Digne also has a been consistent performer where Moreno has had a few struggles since the injury on his first season. But I recognise that digne is on very high wages

Out of moreno or digne, for now id keep digne.

I think we are being very sensible with our signings 3 players out the door and for the most part so far baring dougie they have all been upgrades So I think this is good business villa are doing and the players coming in are very emery type signings players that want to improve I dont think emery likes the egos he doesn’t have a past history of signing those kinds of players so I dont see that happening anyways. They keep talking about signing players based on data driven analysis

I’m all over what your saying Luke I’d rather invest in four players at 50 million than one at 50 million that one player might just work out not as much but kind of like Coutinho big wages too which can make other players unhappy also. Athen if 2 of the 4 work out and the other 2 have resale value because they will probably we younger then that’s also a win so it’s definitely the way to go. Just look at Man United they spend a lot of money and pay silly wages and get stuck with players Sancho is a prime example of this - 300k a week and a transfer fee of 73 million struggling to sell for half that atm due to the wages he is on 15.6 million a year in wages. Barkley could turn out to be the bargain of the season, what a player for the fee we'v paid, I see him as a like for like player with mcginn, he's similar in what he provides the team, moreno probably will go and digne has been decent for us but his wages are massive, and given how we'v had to raise funds lately, I'd sell him to get that massive wage bill off our books, and recruit a good young player as back up for maatsen or a experienced left back who can fill the void if maatsen gets injured ect

I'd probs sell digne. Hes the higher earner and probably will bring in a higher fee. Carlos, Dendonker, Duran would be must haves to get off the wage bill and get a fee in. Chambers transfer fee would be so minimal and he can cover that many positions that I'd keep him. Definitely get rid of olsen also.
