100% stay. He had a decent season for a new player to the prem and has the Champions League experience we need. He also helps to push Baily to be the best he can be which is one of the reasons why I think Baily had a really good season.

Also, it sets a bad precedent to have people come in for a year and leave (what? are we going with the Chelsea revolving door model?). If we are willing to hang in with Jacob Ramsey, Buendia (both injured pretty much the whole season) or to give Cameron Archer or Phlogene Bidace a second chance, it seems really bad form to let this guy (a far better player than any of those other four, imho) go after one season. No to Grealish coming back. Not the player he used to be. Everyone just assumes he would slot into this team and be the 2020 JG. Hes had all his best attributes coached out of him, I don't think he suits Emery's playing style either. He's also on astronomical wages and there's just too much baggage. Other than sentiment I don't see what else he would offer this current team.

I would personally let him go to inconsistent I think philogene is a better player for me was surprised when he was sold

People have been so impatient with this guy, it took Bailey two injury hit years to finally get to the player we thought we were getting, Diaby played well last season and will benefit from that, bought the best out of Bailey with his pace being capable of racing up the pitch with him, a bit more settled in the league, a little less pressure and I think he can hit double figures in goals/assists this season. Too many short sighted fans think we would replace him with an instant hit, for me everyone wants the ready in minutes Big Mc, cheap, rather than letting some French cuisine cook a little longer, cost a bit more, but give it time and taste the difference, worth the wait and the value.. Diaby, Bailey in the side could attract Frimpong.. Other clubs will be after him but could be the edge that brings him to the Villa, there's a video of Frimpong dancing in a Diaby Villa shirt... Anythings possible
