In this video I go over the new Astro pneumatic nano sockets and compare them to the snap on 3/8 shallow sockets to give a size comparison. These sockets have some great features and I personally really like. The price is ultra cheap and affordable as well. I will do a follow up video down the road to show how they are holding up and if I still like them.

They are made from 4140 CRO-MO with lifetime warranty, we got a handful of engineers and racking their brains can't think of a material better suited for an impact socket than that. Domestic Cro-Mo in Taiwan is pretty world class. The reason they are affordable is because we try to make affordable tools under the Astro brand, simple as that. Great video

Exactly!! I don't know why people don't like quality tools at a lower price. What they're buying is patriotism nothing else, there are many countries in this world and i can't believe the United States is the only one making quality tools. I feel really confident when telling tool quality without even looking at a price tag or country of origin and I've saved lot of money over the years.

I have along with all Snapon brand, Mac, Matco sockets wrench ratchets etc I also have the Astro line brand all there sockets Nano, The Nano impact, Thor and Big nasty and I tell you I tend to reach more for them then any other ones AMD everyday used in the shop I have for couple years and never had a problem. Grease them regularly and honestly seem to get stronger with time. But they are a guarantee tool truck quality and only difference between them and Snappys brands is the price. But Astro rocks and put them with the best if not THEE best. FYI I’ve broken tool truck quality sockets and ratchets not often but has happened but these guys I haven’t yet. 👍🏾 👍🏾 in my book.

Astro has been exceeding the other brands and it’s not even close! Problem with most techs is not understanding that you can’t just impact everything. It’s about leverage aka long ratchets. The old fashioned manual labor still holds true to this day. I have bought numerous sockets, ratchets, impact guns from Astro tools and I find their quality and ingenuity top notch. I hope to see this company broaden their collection. I also want to say if Eric O. is supporting it I’m on board!!! Thanks for the video and best wrenching to ya brother.

These sockets are fantastic and as a Technician that does diagnostic and heavy line they had given no problems amd had them for years maybe 3-4 years without warranty. They are not everyday sockets as you stated but if you did need them everyday you will have no issues. GAURANTEED 👍🏾 👍🏾

Nice vid, getting some Fyi if u have 2 cars in the driveway, skip sets are great for some things, cheap and no waste. Some are full sets, some are skips, keep it like that, everyone happy.😊

Hello again Enright Automotive Thank you for another Great Video. I have never used Astro Tools. As Aircraft Mechanic my needs are going to be different, from the automotive industry. Does this come 12-points sockets and SAE/Standard. I do have some Six point hardware but, no Metric hardware. I do like the sizing that would come in handy. Again thank you

Thanks for the reply! I’m pleased to hear to hear that. And coming from a professional is much more credible than a home DIYer. To each his own. As I state in almost all my videos everyone has their preference buy what works for you. I’ve never broken a snap on socket myself but I know that’s not always the case. These are not made the same as higher quality sockets but they aren’t even close to the prices of them so it makes sense.
