jawahar vasu Sound Quality is perfect but the volume is low. If u use simple earphones, then the volume will be quite ok but with proper heavy headphones, the volume will be very low. Same is for the speakers, quality is good, volume is very low. So I'll recommend u to purchase Bluetooth Headphones if u have an issue later.

shafeel yazar After reading your comment, I got up and checked all my friends' laptops for flexing. Little flexing there in every laptop's keyboard but I can assure you that this one has the least flexing. Till date I never felt any uncomfortable flexing, I'm a coder and I type a lot and really fast... The keyboard is butter smooth... and nonflex can be felt. The display is superb, the colours are accurate and the it can also play HEVC 4K HDR 60fps videos smoothly (I also tried 8K also but that played at 10fps). So streaming movies on this would be better than dell 5370.

There's a new version of this laptop, where they are giving a graphic card instead of the extra hdd. That will be good for autocad. But as it's not touch, so can't comment about sketch up and all.

I don't use these softwares but if these softwares are related to graphic design or something similar, then consider buying a laptop with graphic card. If these are related to programming/editing then this laptop will be a better choice.

And also confirm that these softwares are capable of utilising a graphic card as not all graphic related softwares are capable of that !

Yes I'm using this laptop. Issue1: The outer insulation part of charger cable peeled a bit (I fixed it with insulation tape). Issue2: As there is no gap between screen edges and laptop body, it will leave some scratches on the body after sometime (You can prevent that by getting a lamination) Issue3: Speakers not loud. (I fixed this from the driver settings and now they are very loud.) The fan is not very loud, but is audible if you sit in a completely quite room and that too only if you are doing some heavy work like game or editing (You can prevent that by tweaking the settings to reduce processor performance instead of increasing fan speed) So you see there were a few issues but all of them had a way to fix. Other than that, I can't think of any other issues.

Shrey Tyagi Oh! It has gone up. Was 44 something when I checked. May be due to the Flipkart sale that just ended. My main interest in that model is the low weight which is important for me, along with the not-too-bad specs. So worth buying under 45k right?

No doubt this is very good if u get it below 45k, but do some more research, maybe u could find something better in i3 coz that's a completely different category.

If you play a low or medium bitrate MP4/MKV video file on this laptop, then it appears to be grainy. The reason is that the vide driver's decoder of H264 (commonly used codec in MP4 Videos) implemented in this laptop does not reduce noise (which almost every device does automatically). All low to medium bitrate video files carry some noise because of the compression which should be removed by he driver while playing videos but it is not proper on this laptop. The problem is only with H264 codec and if you play high bitrate files (like Bluray Videos or 4K videos, then the noise is not there). The important thing to understand is that the graininess you see is not extra noise, but the noise which was supposed to be removed. If you play HEVC or AVI or any other codec, then there is no graininess. Anyways, even I don't like this bug in ASUS's Video Driver. I noticed this problem much later. So now you know that the problem is with the Video Driver and not the Physical Display (which is superb by the way). You can avoid the graininess by downloading/converting your torrents or videos in VP9 or HEVC codecs. There is no other solution.

The price keeps fluctuating. Wait for the price to go below 55k.

See the i3 model will also have a 128 GB SSD (which makes the booting and app loading super fast) + 1 TB HDD along with a good display and compact size which *adds up to the cost* . 45000 is a fair deal for this laptop but you can easily find other cheaper laptops if you can compromise the SSD and compact size. Otherwise no need to cancel the order.

Shrey Tyagi but that's the thing I don't want to compromise on size because I need a compact and light laptop. There is also i3 8th Gen variant available and all the specs are same except its 5k more expensive and has 256 SSD. Should I get that one or should I just stick to 7th Gen one? Thank you

If you are going to install too many heavy editing or graphic designing type apps, then take 256GB SSD otherwise don't. 128 GB SSD is more than sufficient for apps. Juts change the location of your user files from C to D and your SSD storage will always be 50% free. And the difference between 7th and 8th gen i3 is not as noticable as is between 6th gen and 8th gen. So it's up to you.

Ankit Maurya Battery Backup is very good. But you should adjust the battery mode according to your usage. Select high performance battery mode only while gaming or video editing. During normal usage, the battery has lasted for around 9-10 hours for me.

Definitely, it's superb for editing. But as it doesn't have the additional 1TB hard-disk, you may start running of storage and will have to use an external harddisk.

@@AAAA-qc7io Well, graphics card isn't required much in editing, it's required for graphic designing and gaming. Editing requires a fast processor. I've edited tons of 4K videos without graphics card with my laptop. Just check out other videos from my channel, I've posted many VR 360 videos in 4K. Yes, this laptop is actually best for that. Lightweight, fast processor and fast storage makes it good for productivity. But I'll repeat that this laptop is not good for gaming and graphic designing.

Yeah, photoshop will run smoothly. Premiere runs fine only if your doing basic editing (like cutting, zooming, panning) but if you're doing some graphic intensive work like creating masks or stabilization, then it'll slow down. Get the one with graphic card.

I've not played those games, I play only GTA5 and I showed it's gameplay, you can get an idea from that. But if you are a gamer please don't buy this laptop. There are some good similar sized laptops with graphic card, go for them.

And no, this one does not have a graphics card, seems like you didn't watch the whole video, pls watch the full video, all your doubts will be cleared.

If you're editing videos like those made by MKBHD, Technical Guruji, Mumbiker Nikhil, etc, then it will be good option. If you're a graphic designer, or you want to do, VFX and CGI, then it can be slow.

I'm a heavy user, used it everyday for more than 8 hours. Just like other laptops, battery backup has reduced to around (it now lasts around 4.5 hours), processor speed has reduced a bit. But that's with every laptop, no laptop remains in the same condition as a new one.

i bought it at a mall. i knew it was 8gb ram when i bought it but i checked the specs earlier and it says 4gb.
