i like the screen, but i didnt really like the architecture at all, specially the front seats are absolutely useless. the viewing distance is way too close for comfort and it might create a fish-eye effect while watching the movie. in other words, only the seats located above and far behind makes sense, as they give a complete front view of the screen (i am sure they are the most expensive of all). also, can you provide the list of movies are being played at this theater? as you mentioned there are commercial movie restrictions. so i need to make sure if its worth visiting that theater or not.

As IMAX movie Encoder with tons of IMAX Blu-Ray Disk content ( also Encoding those movies with great quality /Bitrate) .. It's feel like surreal experience just to watch RAW output of IMAX with original format (total 7 screen reel output in entire world!) and we r blessed to have one in Ahmedabad ✨, yes there is also 2k-4k laser IMAX format Theater which is also great to see all over the place and they r planing to open more in the future.. But this one is HUGH!! 🔆 Btw thnx for the tour.. I can relate more then most of those viewers.. As I'm similar to this industry around 5 years from now :)

The IMAX 70mm film projection in the 1.43:1 aspect ratio is phasing out and nearing the end of its commercial lifespan. Some key points indicating it is passing out: 1) Very few new films are being released in this format anymore as digital capture and distribution has become the overwhelming standard for moviemaking and exhibition. 2) Most IMAX and other theaters have converted their projectors to digital xenon or laser systems, which are cheaper to operate than maintaining 70mm film projectors. 3) The number of theaters still capable of showing IMAX 70mm 1.43:1 has dwindled to just a handful globally, as older projectors break down and theaters choose not to repair/replace them. 4) It is increasingly costly for studios to strike 70mm film prints for distribution to the few remaining theaters showing it. 5) Younger generations of audiences and projectionists are unfamiliar with the 70mm film format as digital has become ubiquitous. While a few enthusiast theaters may keep 70mm projection alive as a novelty in the near-term, the economic and technical realities make the widespread exhibition of IMAX 70mm 1.43:1 untenable long-term. Most industry observers expect it to go extinct as a commercial format within the next 5-10 years at most.

bhai aapka video dekh k muje, is theater ki Avtar 1 movie ki yaad aagayi , vaha pe pehle commercial films lagti thi pata nahi 2010 k baad q bandh kar diya, mene vaha pe avtar dekhi thi, or uska 3D experience Top notch tha, kaash ye future me or bhi commerical films lagaye.

Arey already Hyderabad mai 2003 mai hi Prasad 3D imax banchuka hai when im in school- 72 foot high and 95 foot wide, First imax screen in India is "Prasad Imax" Hall isse bhi bada hai(half egg shape hall) 🎉😅😊 Google it please-

Latest updates from GSC Manager (13 May 2024): 1) The Theatre is NOT closed for renovations, it is live. 2) A good print of “Hubble” is also available which they might add shows for later. 3) They do have plans to convert it to digital and are working on it.
