I purchased OLED k15 few days back. But there was no HDD SSD kit along with. I want to install SSD 2.5 1 TB which is with me. But there is no kit . Can we purchase it from outside.? Can you share the SSD kit box details , you showed in video. Like part number etc. That will be more helpful.

Interesting that ASUS would ship a laptop with space for a 2.5" SATA drive and SATA ZIF port but no cable/connector/bracket. Way to go ASUS!!

its imposible to add sata drive. I had to buy another m2 of higher memory. Heatsink is although a joke.

untuk ukuran 8GB ram masih oke, kalau agan buka aplikasinya banyak dan macem2, disaranin tambah lagi jadi 16gb,, untuk storage disaranin upgrade dengan ssd,,

@@Amhear are you sure? official page says 16gb (or 12gb for 4gb intergrated) is max. I have upgraded to 12gb but its not enouph

Just bought Asus K513 i5 OLED 8/256. 1. Can i add more 16 GB RAM so it could be 8+16 = 24 GB ? Or I just can add 8+8 = 16 GB RAM? 2. My SSD M.2 2280 only 256 GB, I want to expand up to 1 TB, is it possible? 3. For SATA 2,5" only for HDD SATA or I can change to SSD SATA too? Answer please 🙏🏻

1, yes you can add ram to 24GB 2, yes it is possible, but you must reinstall the OS to new SSD 3, yes you can use SATA SSD too

1.No, you can do 8+8. It says on the Asus official page. Those with 4 gb soldered to the motherboard can be upgraded to 12 gb. The ones with 8 gb soldered to the motherboard can be upgraded to 16 gb.

@@vasifmehdizade7239 I believe you can. If you put a 16gb stick, the 'extra' 8 gb of memory will work as single channel. other than that It'll work just fine.

I have same laptop. Everything works fine. My upgrade SATA kit + SSD 1TB along with installed 512NVMe SSD, 1x16GB crucial DDR4 3200MHz CL10 to CL16. Yes recommended is Dual channel memmory = 8GB + 8GB, or 4GB + 4GB, but works fine.
