Does it support any kind of pencil with palm rejection? I wish the bezels could have been thinner. Some part of the back could have been also covered with display for important notifications.

I hope Asus revives the PadFone series it was such a cool idea and would probably work a lot better today than it did originally with super fast processors and usb c ect

Asus thank you for the new Asus fold 17. I bought mine in South Africa and it’s wonderful. I stopped using my zenbook duo 14inch for the 17inch fold. I can’t wait for the 2Gen.

Hi there, I have a 2020 Asus Rog Strix G15 with an RTX 2060 (G512LV). This version came without a lightbar at the button but there are sockets on the board for them. I want a button case with the light bar but can't find one. Who has a connection please let me know.

I have a question, this model has already stopped production? I checked the online stores that are supposed to have this available, but the 3 stores say it is unavailable and one site says they don't know if it will be back in stock. I looked on the link for Asus and it says the page can't be found. Asus, can you answer?? It probably is expensive, maybe that's why it was discontinued?? I don't like the fold phones, the screen is soft, not like a glass screen and too easily scratched, but for a notebook, most touchscreen laptops have the glass to protect it, the non-touch you need to be careful with, this one would be a touch screen, but no glass to protect from scratches. You would need to make sure the screen wasn't dusty before you started using your finger on it. STILL, this looks really awesome!!! Asus, are you going to put this or a newer model?? I cant wait for next generation with wide sreen when pop out big mode, best with 16:9 in my opinion, caused fix to our eyes.

I wish next device is a Zenbook Fold with Intel Core i9-13900H or even 13900K) Processor, 32-64 GB of RAM and no internal NVIDIA graphics. However it does support ROG XG Mobile (GeForce RTX 4090) Port.

This laptop would have been perfect if it had been released with a slightly higher dedicated stand. If asus did, this laptop would look like an all-in-one pc when used at home.

So, with normal use (like he said on video), by opening-closing it about 15 times per day, the hinge will broke after just 5 years?? That seems bad, for what it costs, especially considering that replacing the screen/hinge would probably cost a lot.

unfortunately the kickstand protrudes, and the keyboard is stored inside the folds when carrying around. Makes the tablet feel chunky. Also when shut without the keyboard the Asus fold is not flush, but rather towards the back is open in order to accommodate the keyboard. The Lenovo X1 fold (also 16.7 inches) to be released in a few weeks actually emphasizes thin when closed, the keyboard is magnetized on the outside for portability. Is thin and flush. I am going to purchase the Lenovo X1 fold…it is the Asus fold but with a much more ergonomic design

Please Asus make a Chromebook OS version of this. This would be the biggest thing in the Chromebook world. I just might pick it up and add Chrome OS Flex on it.

Bad experience for me as many third party virtual conference meeting software does not support it properly (e.g., zoom) which renders built-in webcam useless when in folded laptop mode.

they are on the right track, but 9 Hours of battery life its harsh, and those bazzles and screen thickness is not good. Truly innovating product but they still need to work here, perhaps with next gen.

This is neat...but...I have some friends who can afford this, and what they're trying to find is a larger screen they can travel with and work remotely. 15" that unfolds to 24". 17" that unfolds to 28". (Largest common airplane carryon size) that unfolds to (as big as it can get :D) I mean seriously, I was just talking to a friend who's in management about how he loves working from a warm location, but bringing a decent sized screen with him on a plane is almost impossible - he makes more than enough to afford that kind of thing, but it's not possible to buy a > 17" external monitor that you could put in a carryon laptop bag.

Lenovo X1 Fold 2022 is better and I say that as an Asus fan. Lenovo X1 Fold 2022 supports a stylus. Asus Zenbook 17 Fold doesn't. Asus Zenbook 17 Fold uses an OLED panel from BOE. The 1st gen Lenovo X1 Fold uses an OLED panel from LG Display. The Lenovo X1 Fold 2022 uses an OLED panel from Sharp. $3,500 for a device with a BOE panel?? No LTE 4G or 5G, So prefer Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Fold 2nd gen with 5g sim slot a boon for professionals & businessman who concern about secured internet as well as anywhere availability in future keeping in mind in addition to best design aesthetic and performance of Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Fold 5g 2nd gen , whereas Asus fails in all this aspects honestly speaking.

16 GB of RAM is not enough, in professional tasks it will slow down. Gegenerally it's a cool device! I would buy it if there were at least 32 GB of RAM. I hope this will be fixed in the next generation.

Outside opinion here but I find professional people who shrill products super annoying. Everything about their fake and polished delivery grates me. Even when a company has every right to brag like with a product like this, I feel disgust at the obvious manipulation. I wouldn't be able to make a commercial like this. Even if I believe in the product, and perhaps this guy really does, I'd feel cheap and phony talking to an audience with such marketing-orientated speech and mannerisms.
