In my experience, a number of Chinese pens have become rather good value propositions. I'd wanted a skeleton pen for awhile so took a chance on this one and I'm glad I did! I also like and have the P36 (pretty much alternate these two in rotation), have/like the Lemon M1, HongDian N23 and the very inexpensive, wonderfully writing JinHao 9019. Appreciate you doing reviews of these more affortable pens!

Got this from Amazon based on your review, and has a very smooth medium nib with good flow right out of the box (just inked it tonight). A little heavy, but about what you'd expect with that much metal. Thanks for the review, I'm enjoying my purchase.

I think you will like both the p20 (their best pen) and the V126 (a pilot custom 823, copy, inspiration, whatever…) I find their M nibs one of the smoothest after my pelikan 400M M and my caran d ache leman Vintage M

One asks oneself, following the fountain pen world, what makes a pen interesting nowadays. In my view, design, especially of the shell, i.e. aesthetic design, isn't an interesting aspect. Special material, like Gravitas use, maybe, yes. But my interest would be aroused by seeing a new internal system of conveying the ink, a new filling system, or something really innovative as regards the nib. But a fountain pen being, as you said more than once, a controlled leak... limits the realm of interesting discussion. You touched on this on your latest "trends" video. Maybe you'd do well reviewing special materials and their import, if any, to the quality of the pen? Maybe look for interesting filling systems?

I am wondering if an fpr ultra flex nib and the corresponding feed would fit into it. That would be a great pen for novelty writing, with shimmering inks swirling through the body.

It looks like an upgraded version of the P36 which has titanium accoutrements. I don't think it will one that I will get at this time, considering the price point. Nice review.

I haven’t been a fan 🪭 of these metal skeleton pens . Recently that changed when I bought a Hongdian (model number escapes me). Suffice to say they’re quite nice but I wouldn’t buy too many. All metal caps have a habit of working loose,leaving you with an inky shirt pocket.

Am I imagining things or are there two spiders in the overlay?
