Today I review 5 questions that delve into DSM5 diagnoses. I provide insight on the type of questions: Recall,Reasoning, or Application, as well as apply the SFAREAFI as applicable.
The ASWB Clinical Exam, or the Association of Social Work Boards Clinical Exam, is a test that was made to determine whether or not an individual's level of knowledge of social work in a clinical setting is sufficient. You will have four hours to complete 170 multiple choice questions, including 20 pre-test questions, that test your knowledge in Human Behavior, Diversity Issues, Diagnosis and Assessment, Psychotherapy, Communication, Therapeutic Relationships, Professional Ethics, Clinical Supervision, Practice Evaluation, Service Delivery, and Clinical Practice and Management. To register, you must have at least a Master's degree from a social work program, and two years of clinical social work experience.

@@BlackkOnyxx practice questions were what helped me the most. The content is important but sometimes it's more about how you break down the questions than the actual content. Read the question, read all the answers, ask yourself what is the question asking for, eliminate incorrect answers, select the best answer. I failed twice before so that helped me focus my studying on weak areas. You got this!! Take some time for self care the day before.

Question 5 is a bit misleading as to diagnose someone with Panic Disorder the panic attacks need to be recurrent. A presence of 1 panic attack does not necessarily lead to a Panic Disorder diagnosis. Although it is the only close to correct option from the answers.

General question:Is it possible for SOME mental health patients to have a diagnoses of GAD and Social Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder simultaaneously?
@PhilintheGaps
@PhilintheGaps Жыл бұрын
You pose a very tricky question 😅In order for someone to have a diagnosis of GAD, Social Anxiety and Panic Disorder simultaneously the person would need to meet full criteria for each of the disorders I.e. someone who has GAD must have anxiety outside of a fear of having a panic attack or being negatively evaluated in one or more social situation. Therefore, it is possible it just requires more specific assessment.
