Yep. Sad. But I do also credit the players too. They’ve tried everything to finish everything for him. But we’re not there yet. Let’s see next season, needs a bit of a change around in the personnel

@@jonny4866yeah the lads look like a mix between not sharp enough from injuries (jota, Trent and Jones) and absolutely wrecked from so many minutes in their legs (Mo, Nunez, Mac Allister) Get Amorim in and let’s have a proper crack at the league and champions league next season

In a matter of weeks the whole cycle has gone full circle. From doubters to believers and back to doubters. This is reminiscent of post quad fallapart. It seems we have the ability for our team to change from apparent invincibility to gibbering idiots in the blink of an eye. Truly bewildering.

Disappointing and worrying thing is that several players aren't giving 100%. MacAllister running for 3 men while others stroll about. Totally unacceptable

hendo isnt there to push the team. say what you want from him but virgil isnt pushing the team like hendo or milner. robbo is the closest to that but hes a damn LB. Need your midfield to step up and control games

Salah's form carried us and everyone else chipped in.. once Salah got injured we rode the waves of confidence and individual moments of brilliance of others(Macca in particular), but when Salah didn't find form on his return, things started adding up until our confidence and energy were shot.

@@mkuehter12 spot on! We’ve papered over the cracks all season. Coming from behind is great but it suggests underlying issues. Only Jurgen could’ve got this transition team in a title race. Shame he didn’t have the resources throughout his time to go toe to toe with City.

Good first half an hour but totally ran out of steam & ideas after that. Game was lost last week obviously though. Players look knackered a massive ask to pick themselves up now for rest of the season.

Our slow passing has finally caught up with us. The lack of urgency has made us so lax. Atalanta made us look so ordinary. Chances like salah come around very rarely. And again we got the basic wrong and he shinned it.

I really really don't want to say it but it looks like our race is run . I never slag the team and I'm not going to now iv loved how the season has gone up to now . The irony is I fancied us to win this cup at the beginning of the season when i really doubted us to be in a title race. Up the reds. YNWA

I’ve been making excuses for our team that we’re too emotional. Last night was proof that it has nothing to do with emotions. we’ve been found out and we’re very easy to thwart and hurt as well. I can’t see us winning more than 3 of our last 6.

The players have let Klopp down massively over the last 4 weeks. What a shame we couldn't send him off better. League is not happening because our form is so terrible. I fully expect us to drop points against Fulham away who gave us that mad 4 - 3 game at Anfield earlier in the season.

If you want examples that epitomise how far behind Real Madrid we have become since Paris just look at the attacking midfield and strikers of both. They have Bellingham and Rodrygo and we have some abject shit called Szoboszlai and Jones. In attack they have Vinícius Júnior, we have the Uruguayan burro. Says it all.

Salah, nunez, gakpo, Jones, and szoboszlai were all absolutely shite! Salah is finished, nunez will never be good enough, szoboszlai fooled us all with a good start but has gradually got shiter by the week, Jones literally hasn't improved in 5 years of first team football. Klopp and certain pundits think he's leaving us in a strong position, but I'd disagree, I think we're actually in poor shape with an ageing defence and several players simply not good enough

I thought Liverpool did well not to lose by a bigger margin in the first match but Atalanta gave Liverpool a chance in the 2nd. Atalanta only beaten by a penalty.

It just feels like the end of this Liverpool team. The badge is too heavy for a lot of them. There’s zero excuse to perform to the levels we have in the last month. I don’t care if they are tired, where’s the fight. They don’t deserve wages. Massively let the manager and the fans down. At the end of the game I saw players laughing and swapping shirts with Atalanta players. They didn’t even care that they just crashed out of Europe. I hate that attitude. Garbage.
