I paint the polar bear, seal and dolphin fish I prepared with a 3D printer with acrylic paint.
I place polar bears on the ice floe I prepared from epoxy.
By placing other animals I get a wonderful cylindrical epoxy lamp.

I love the cloud effect you get in the resin. I'm going to have to try that for a future project... I also need to get a lathe, but I'm scared I'll injure myself.... 😂

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it. Yes, the cloud effect is beautiful, you can find the right consistency after a few tries. It should be applied after the epoxy has gelled a little. When applied early, the given effect shape is dissipated. If it is applied too late, it will cause some air bubbles to remain.

This is a proximity sensing circuit that works like touch. After making the necessary connections and positioning the round yellow copper plate and the circuit, it is ready for use. It detects from behind the wood up to approximately 2 cm. (I only tested it on wood, I did not test it on other materials such as metal or plastic.) It has a very simple structure. I have never used polyester resin, but polyester resin will not be suitable for this type of deep casting resin. Thin castings are made with polyester resins. In this type of deep casting, the epoxy heats up and the project becomes garbage.

I take some epoxy from the epoxy I will cast and color it with white pigment. I do the main pour and wait for the epoxy to gel for a while. When it reaches the appropriate consistency, I give the effect with white epoxy. With a few trial and error you will find the right gelling. The thing you need to pay attention to is if the gelling consistency is less, the effect you give will be dissipated. If it gels too much, it will cause air bubbles to form.

This vacuum tank, works together with a vacuum motor. A clear bubble-free epoxy is obtained by pulling the air inside the epoxy.
