We hope you have enjoyed our summer videos so far, including our first-ever Virgin Atlantic flight! Today we introduce a 2-part flagship series, ATL Airport Spotting: To the Max!, our two longest videos ever containing over 1 hour and 10 minutes of pure ATL spotting (Show more for series and episode 1 info)
This 2 part series will feature an appearance from every airline that serves this amazing airport. Coverage was shot from the one and only Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel!

GREAT VIDEO.THE RENAISSANCE CONCOURSE ATLANTA AIRPORT HOTEL IS THE BEST HOTEL IN ATLANTA AND THE BEST PLANE SPOTTING HOTEL IN ATLANTA.GREAT TO SEE THE LUFTHANSA STAR ALLIANCE PLANE AND THE DELTA AIRLINES 757-300.THE DELTA AIRLINES 757-300 HAS GREAT SERVICE.IF YOU SIT AT WING ENGINE SEAT 22F YOU WILL SEE GEAR GO UP AND DOWN.HOPEFULLY YOU GET TO GO ON ONE SOME DAY.I HAD ONE TO ORLANDO AND NICE TO SEE ONE COMING FROM MINNEAPOLIS.I WENT THERE LAST SUMMER ON A DELTA AIRLINES 757-200.

Awesome spotting video! Gotta love the renaissance hotel. I was on the 10th flood which had the same exact view as you guys did! Lol! I really liked how you put the titles showing all the info about each aircraft; that deserves major props! Did you guys just get there? Anyway great video with a like!

atlubeck Thanks!! We kept a log of each flight and tried to keep up! The best app for spotting is Flightradar24! It literally is up to the second including tail numbers! We live here in ATL so we went for 1 night last weekend!

Lol. I find flightaware better for finding flights, as flightradar24 will only pull up a flight if it's in the air. But for spotting Flightradar24 is the way to go!

Do you plan on planespotting in march? I am flying in atl on March 10 at 750PM on an a333 and out at 850PM on a rj9. On March 19, I am flying in to atl on a 752 at 846am and out at 1100AM on an a333. Is there any chance you could capture the arrival/departure on either or both of those days? Thank you. If you need more flight info, feel free to ask. Reply

You know what really surprises me is the planes that are designed for long-range flights are used for short-ranged flights like a 752 from MCO-ATL! And what's even more bizzare is that small planes like the 717-200 flies from YYZ-ATL! I mean, we should be using small planes for small flights and big planes for big flights. I'm scared to think that soon we'll be flying a380's to get from places like ROC to JFK which can be done by a Q100! And then look at the BAW a318 that flies from JFK to London! BAW is also having 744's do that! How ridiculous! FAA, we need to talk!

It's because MCO-ATL is a high capacity route. Most Delta fliers that come from MCO to ATL are catching a connecting flight.

Florida has always been Delta's "golden routes" if you look again even MCO is 757, most people connect through ATL to get to Florida

AirPlane421 they used to fly 767 and before that L-1011. Flew on many out of JAX. Lots of traffic between those two.

+WillyDuxNation It's very common actually. Especially in Atlanta, with Delta Tech Ops, after a plane has gone through maintenance it's very common for a crew to fly it around just to ensure everything is fixed and going well before it returns to service! Thanks for watching!
