I don't think this song or Uncle Kracker himself got near the notarity that he should have gotten. He has alot of great songs! He is really talented being a musician, songwriter etc I think he's just awesum & should get noticed more than he has been! Uncle Kracker rocks! PS I am from Memphis! =) Much luv & respect!

My husband has pet cancer prostate cancer and when a man beats at cancer it takes everything from him even his love for his wife I listen to this I listen to the song I listen to the song and I go back in time how much I love him then and how much I love him now day and I will always love him to the end of life 💓

I remember back when I was fourteen, in 2003, I used to listen to this so much. Back then, you could turn on the radio and hear Uncle Kracker all the time. I miss those days. =(

I was raised on Buddy Holly...I'm 48 now & I still listen 2 him all the time. Makes me miss my Dad, he died a little over 10 yrs ago, I had "Brown Eyed Handsome Man" played at his funeral cuz that was the one that he used 2 dance me around the living room 2 when I was really young. One of my earliest memories. It's absolutely awesome 2 know that there r people like u, more than ½ my age, who even know who Buddy Holly is, much less listen 2 his music. I like u. Keep that shit up!!!😊 Uncle Kracker is awesome 2, this is my fave song of his. It's just good, simple, REAL MUSIC.

In 2015 my sister died in a motorcycle. It was in the days that followed that my brother, who took the role of my father when I was 13 and he was 16, introduced me to Uncle Kracker. Every time we got together we would share whatever new music we were in to at the time.Three years later in 2018 he took his own life. Sometimes when I listen to UK I can feel him here with me. Be there for those around you, especially the "life of the party" types. They need you the most. Love to all. Thanks for listening

His song came out in the worst /good times of my life..my best friend since 8th grade lost to cancer .he said no matter what i was always there for him..even when he begged me to go cuz he didnt want. Me to see what he was going threw after kemo treatments..very heartbreaking to watch specially if its a loved one in ur life..love him always and forever..hes a angel watching over me daily

Just a cute story. My son is in the AF and for a weekend leave inTx they went to cowboys to see him in concert. My son knows he's one of my fav's and surprised me with a call from the concert so i could sing along during Drift Away. When he told the people what he was doing they let him up front to make sure i could hear him. That says alot about his fans!
