Thank you for saving me from wasting 2 hours of my time today. The only reason why I was going to consider watching this film was for Sterling K. Brown. Knowing he will not be given much screen time, I will be passing on this one. IMO, JLO seems to be producing movies not for the love of the project, but to cast herself in the lead role that would of gone to someone else.

The irony that JLo is battling AI now. Her whole personality, career, public image seems created by AI. I know she doesn't sing her own songs. Meanwhile, watching the trailer, my eye kept going to her HAIR. It looks so intentionally "harrowing action thriller messy", but in the most perfect way possible. Her hair stylist should get their name in the opening credits.

I haven't watched any of Jlo's movies to entirerty except "Shall We Dance" and I thought that was a heart warming movie. Everything else I've only watched on TV but don't remember finishing them..although I did watch "Mother" recently it was "meh" and forgettable. I'll probably check out Atlas w/friends. I enjoyed this film for what it is, an entertaining family fun sci-fi action. I did like the story and the special effects but the film did drag, at least 20 -25 minutes of the film should have been cut , jlo had a decent performance, the emotional connection with her and the A.I. robot was cringe at times especially during the end of the film , but that's typical jlo and any character she plays. Sterling k brown was under used. Wanted to see his character more involved. I think simu liu's character was ok, nothing special, his best scene was the last 10 minutes . But this film did remind me of alot of other sci-fi classics such as T2, minority report, total recall. jlo is a good actress but made alot of crap over her career with a few gems , this movie was just ok ,nothing special. Great review elliott, happy memorial day 🫡

Smith AI robot was protected in so much plot armor.. it survived, a war in the sky, fallen from Grace, falling down a mountain full of rocks and boulders, Gunfire from a whole army, it was cut up by Harlan in the last sequence of the movie.. yet it still had all of its limbs to do everything in the next scene.. Smith was controlling, it took over Jennifer Lopez body numerous times.. disobey direct orders, tell me I’m wrong

I actually saw this movie with the Netflix preview club. It’s everything that you said it was, very predictable and they gave Sterling a nothing role. I may actually watch it later since the vfx weren’t finished when I saw it but I’m not in a rush 😂 Jlo movies- Selena, Enough, Monster In Law

@@MovieFiles It’s a club where Netflix sends me some of their movies in advance and have a limited time (usually a couple of days) to watch and do a survey about the movie. They put it on my account and give me a pin no to access it. Don’t know why I was picked but they sent me a email last summer if I was interested and a few weeks later they sent me Atlas. They just sent me a movie with Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Stanley Tucci and Brian Cox directed by the Russo Brothers. Hopefully it’s good 🤞🏽

The film is absolutely stupid and therefore illogical. Why would human kind allow those robots to thrive for 28 long years once they left earth, not before threatening us with another attack in the future. Any normal general would simply go after them and destroy their stupid rocket before the next 24 hours. And saying that: "hey, maybe they don't know where they are", that's also stupid. That makes no sense at all.
