Could you make a video showing how to zero with the phone? At 4:45 you show the profile ballistic info, and at the very bottom is the "Zero Reticle" button. When I click that, the reticle on the phone's live stream is no where near the view I see through the scope screen.

I cant connect with any of the several phones Ive tried. It always tells me to connect my device and Im already connected. When I click on Connect my Device it just redirects me again to the WiFi options, which again, Im already connected. Frustrating.

Does the app provide the humidity, wind speed, and direction automatically to the scope when paired, or are these 3 variables always entered manually?

what to do if the area where you are hunting doesn't have cell phone coverage ?

The app does not use phone coverage to connect to the scope so you will still be able to use it.

Is there a way to prevent Wi-Fi lag between scope and phone? Would like to use phone for scope but the lag makes it impossible

The lag time really depends on the phones wifi transfer capabilities.

Ok I have the WIFI icon but how do you turn it on and off, I have a line across mine and can not cet the line to go away

When on the WiFI icon click on the center button of scope to turn it on.

Believe my brand new 5-20 4k Pro has a fault. I have tried to find wireless connection on Samsung S5, Huawei 5T, Apple Ipad, microsoft Surface Pro, Samsung Tablet, Medion laptop. None of these device can locate scope address. looking at Wifi info my unit is : xsight4k_28UX, with corresponding password. Only thing of note is it says Mac address 00:00:00:00:00:00. Has this unit not been assigned address before leaving factory. Please advise, as i am at a loss, and believe this scope is not producing a wifi signal. Regards, Aggravated

You can either download from the SD card to the computer or save via the app.

I did all that and when open the APP I get a blank screen,,kinda acts like its connected but nothing there. Back at wifi page under scope name it say no wifi available. I switched to mobile data and still same If scope is not on the wifi name dont appear on my phone. so Scope must be sending out but my phone not picking it up correctly. Trying to figure out how to go back and make sure I used the correct password. Any ideas??

I figured out what the problem was. See my other comment to explain,,but basically have to turn your phone horizontal if this is happening to you. In the horizontal position it started working great for me. Just get a blank screen in vertical position. I was using Galaxy phones.

I just talked to someone on the phone at ATN. They told me to uninstall my Obsidian 4 app and reinstall it , did Not help my issue. Trying to download my video from my Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G from the app while connected to the app, gives me this says ( Unable to create folder / .advBook/MEDIA. What do I need to do to get videos to phone without pulling sd card out of my X-Sight 4K PRO ??

I could not get my Android 9 to connect my x-sight 4k pro. Found a tip on a forum to turn off mobile data on my Android device. Now it connects fine.

If you have an ATN smart scope with Bluetooth then it will have WiFi as well.

How do I save pictures and video to my phone from the obsidian app?

When you are in the app Gallery, click on the checkmark icon to the right then choose the video you want to save. When you have chosen what you want, click on the icon that looks like a phone with the arrow pointing down. That will download the photos and video to your App Gallery and can be accessed without connecting to the scope.

Still playing around with my app. So far so good. Only problem i see at moment when aiming on a target with crosshairs on the optic.... When you look at app the reticle is not aimed same as in optic. My son was aiming at target i kept telling him his wrong. Have latest firmwares on optic and phone. Any conclusions ATN??

I have an android phone I have downloaded the obsidian app on it. The wifi is turned on in the scope my wifi said connected no internet. When I open the app it will not connect. I have followed the directions and it will not work. Any ideas?

I was trying with the wrong app. I was using Obsidian version 2.4. Its the older one called Obsidian 4 that works.

I took mine out and had RAV on and it didn't take a single video, so I hit record and it still didn't record. I think I need to practice more with the settings.

You may need to try a different micro SD card. We recommend using a microSD Card should be a Class 10 (10 Mb/sec) or faster and have a capacity from 4 to 64 Gb that is an HC type SD card.

I had the same thing and I changed the sd card and its fine now.. I'm just having a problem getting videos to phone

@@AtncorpOptics They don't make 64GB HC cards. HC cards only go up to 32GB.

Had my first THOR4 kill this evening on a large boar and thought all my settings were correct and no video record. My card should be good at 32gb and 10 class,right? It's a SanDisk

Try updating the firmware of your phone. Could be an issue there. Or try it on a different smartphone.

Im going to save many people a headache with my comment!!! When opening the Obsidian 4 app. Turn your phone horizontal when the app opens. And it will work!!! I kept getting a connection,,app would open and I would get a blank screen. I even went and bought a new phone with same results. I accidentally turned phone horizontal with this connection,,and all the widgets popped up and it started working fine. The App wont allow it to open correctly in the vertical position on my Galaxy phones. Was a J7 and now is A14 galaxy android. It works great now. Your welcome!!
