In this video I'll be taking a look at and testing out the Atomstack X20 Pro laser engraver and cutter. This laser engraver features a large 400x400mm work area, a 20W laser power, fixed focus beam, safety kill switch, offline controller, built in air assist and more. Hi Is it possible to see a preview (on mobile/computer) of targetted working area before pushing start button ?

Yes, you simply hit frame and it will show the outline

I have the A20 pro, for framing, I lift the laser up an inch, and frame, then set the focus after, works great.

You video was super helpful. I'm new to laser cutting and just got the x30 pro.... I could not figure out how far the laser should be from the material or how to use the magnetic focal tool. Thank you! ❤ do you have a link to their recommended settings for various materials?

Great Video and testing, made it look so easy, I have a question, I saw that you had to reach over and under the tracking bar & lazor when at home position, can the home position be made to be say back left instead of front left? ok I pulled the manual for X20 from internet, it says that LB will allow you to change it, but I am not sure I will be using LB, my unit should be here today.

I just bought one of these and fiddled with it some now but how do you go about knowing exactly where the etch is going to be? Say if i want to etch a gunstock i have to know exactly where the etch is going to be

Are you using lightburn? Hold down shift while framing and that will fire the laser and show you the outline. In the newer versions of lightburn you can toggle on the switch in settings to enable that everytime instead of holding shift.

Hey, You complain about laserhead\Glass blocking you from seeing laser when using FRAME function of lightburn .. Have you considered raising laser before framing.. then lowering it for actual Burning?

🤔I know nothing about lasers! but I’m curious does a laser need to be 4 corner level with each other like a 3 d printer to make the laser cut evenly 🤔

No necessarily but it will help. My table isn’t completely level and I haven’t had an issue at all.

Yes it is. The air assist definitely helps a lot. I would compare this closely with the Xtool but this one is cheaper in price

Of course but you’ll need the rotary attachment if you want to engrave around it.

LaserGRBL is free or you can use lightburn which has a 30 day trial. After it’s like $60

I just got the A20 pro tonight. Two things I had an issue with. 1. Trying to center the laser. It cut my test dog in half. 2. When I tried to use the home button it went forward, said "failed" and then told me to unlock it. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I got my x20 pro a week ago, I just cut the dog and engrave the butterfly and after my charger stop working, I buy a new one, and sometimes my machine turns on and sometimes does not. Anyone can help me with this?

I placed an order two days later I got an email that they were out of stock. They offered a more expensive version because as they wrote these are available. I agreed and placed a new order after they returned the money. Two days later I got an email saying that this one is also out of stock! This company is a scam.
