A quick Beginner's Guide that tells you all you need to know and doesn't waste your time! Atrocitus is an Aggressive Rushdown Character with Great Mix-ups! This tutorial will cover every special move, their meter burns, the most useful attack strings, Super, and some basic Bread & Butter combos (mid-screen and corner)!
BUTTON TRANSLATION
Xbox One
1 = X
2 = Y
3 = A
4 = B (character trait)
PS4
1 = Square
2 = Triangle
3 = X
4 = Circle (character trait)
DIRECTIONS
f = forward
b = back
d = down
u = up
qcf / qcb = quarter circle forward/back
hcf / hcb = half circle forward/back
MB = Meter Burn (Enhanced)
NJ = Neutral Jump

The best way to use him is to alternate strings n dex starrs projectile. String projectile string projectile string projectile. Makes every move safe. Creates enormous pressure. And grants meter even they choose to block the whole time dex stars out. That and the mixups ooooooweeeeeeeeiiiii im bouta go blow the dust off inj2. Good vid bro thx.

I’ve been maiming Atrocitus since the game came out. Definitely my favorite character to play. Once you get that corner pressure going, you can get your opponent REAL tilted.

forgot to mention a few things -the shield+up vomit combo, and how the shield has a fixed knockback -landing bloodnado on someone while they're airborne allows you to execute moves earlier

Also you can use Dex Starr after a blood nado to continue your combo without meter

Honestly, I didn't really had any hopes for this video and didn't really believe that it would be helpful, but it was, thank you so much, I just started playing atrocious for his legendary gear which is not as bad as people think, is actually really good.

Hello I just started playing, honestly I’m quite overwhelmed by all the combos, I wish there was a guide that shows in game examples or just a video presenting gameplay and in depth descriptions on how everything works and why you choose to do each thing.

Holy 💩 i have over 10000 matches played with atrocitus n did not know that his life drain had a meter burn option. Ive seen him glowing but i thought that jus meant i was close to getting the boost of health return. Crazy cuz i definitely consider him my main n feel im top tier with him n never knew about that move. 🤯

“Our hellish hate!” Yeeeeaaaahhhh!! Blood push is the best, meter burn better. Dex Starr triple attack followed by blood nado followed by blood push Mb to transition yeet!! 😂😂😂✊. I love this guy. Saw one of your other vids on him but back to basics my sons are challenging me !!

Huh, then make sure to do his flying punches instead. You can MB those on block. I don't get why they show frame data on block if you can't even MB it on block :/ That's really odd to me. Oh, NetherRealm...you silly developers.

TrueUnderDawgGaming I read somewhere that the block adv data for things that don't come out on block were for Aquaman's trait. Makes sense kinda but also seems superfluous
