It would be very elegant and handsome, but it would also be very formal. Black leather might be the best match for this watch. It would balance the sporting elements of the design itself with the formal overtones of the rose gold case. For good measure, a traditional un-bolstered rectangular scale alligator leather would feel more upscale and less predictable than the usual hornback leather. Best, Tim

Hey Tim thank you for your take on this, i did purchase the PP 5712r rose gold and installed a custom red croc leather strap on it instead. But i will definitely follow your advice on this AP later as i still would love buying it later. So thank you again!

You are poor. I own this watch and it came with a black kevlar strap, I purchased the white rubber strap from AP and it's a show stopper, everywhere I go I get nothing but compliments. Maybe try watching videos on Casio and Timex instead of AP, AP in my opinion is the most prestigious watch brand in the world and it's clearly out of your price range

But remember that the same craftsmen who build and finish the Jumbo craft this Offshore, so the substance isn't lacking even though the style is a clear appeal to fad and fashion.
