Жыл бұрынHere, we are jumping into something a bit unusual and classic. How about a B6 Audi A4 3.0 V6 quattro with a gated manual shifter? The owner drove to me from Slovakia to Poland and I did a quick shoot with this unicorn in the Tatra mountains. Are you a fan? The car surely is unique with its custom made gated manual shifter, and has mileage of 415 000km on the meter.

There was not "facelift" of the B6. It was called the B7 and counted as a new generation.

I thought it was a B6.5 …..and if your statement is true then why did B6 and B7 a4 share the same interior from 2002-2005 2006-2008 shared same interior

@@Audikeeef Nope, there was never such a thing as B6.5. B7 was a facelift B6, counted as a new generation. Google, wikipedia etc, and you'll learn. Enjoy!

@@Auditography My mistake. I forgot that the B7 and B6 were named differently, even if they were very similar in terms of body/generation. In any case, it's cool to see a modded B6, I see B7's a lot more often. 😁

@@Auditography agreed 💯 But the timing chain and tensioner guides was the icing on the cake for me. It sucks tho. I miss that car every damn day. 6mt V8 AWD. Was nice when she was running good. Coincidentally, I'm having the same issues with my Mk6 GTI. Second timing job on the EA888. VDub gonna VDub 😂😭🤦🏻🤷🏻

Had a 2005 S4 B6 bent a valve. 2nd B6 bought wrong car came with CVT during this time i learnt almost everything abt the B6's. 3rd was 1.8t quattro sline/ultrasport and my current one identical color, been thru one paint correction and ceramic coated, full factory votex kit 1.8t quattro with revo stg 1 peaking @1.5bar tapers to 1.25 bar, hfc with remus axleback, kw v3 coilovers lowered on factory A5/S5 18s ronal wheels et29. on a 5speed manual, hd sqchs performance clutch. just stretch out the rev range rowing thru gears. its fun. Doing a 6speed swap from B7 this weekend. future plans will be tubular manifold with a garrett g25-550 and other supporting mods. Are you the one that designed that gated shifter cage? i saw the post on forums

Its a simple rule not only for Audi but for the whole VW group - transverse mounted engines are with torsen (non-permanent), and longitudinal mounted are with haldex (permanent quattro)

If it was the 3.2 V6 it would be a dream to own cause thats the best sounding V6 ever to me and 3.2 gets that 12.5:1 compression ratio it sounds mean

Was there ever a a B6.5 in 2005 going into 06 with the single frame grille …:they look different on the outside but the interior are the same one of the most confusing facelift non facelifts from audi
