Growing up as a Christian I have always worried about myself and others going to Hell. I fear rather than really love a God who would do this to most of his creation. Thus, I have become an agnostic. Rabbi Tovia Singer has at least brought a little light into my life.

Any Gentile who accepts the Seven Noahide Commandments, and is careful to observe them, is truly a pious individual of the nations of the world, and merits an eternal portion in the future World to Come. (And with this merit, the person will be included in the Resurrection of the Dead). This applies only if he accepts them and does them because the Holy One, blessed be He, commanded them in the Torah, and made it known through Moses our teacher, that the Children of Noah were previously commanded to fulfill them.

What you said about everything here and Isaiah 49:6 put me in some tears of realization now. I think high school was the first time I met a Jew, and he was a doctor I was seeing for an injury. There was always something about him, how he talks and presents himself, his knowledge and kindness just stood out from anyone else in my life. Then I realized my mentor is a Jewish man and an economist, he has that similar aura I mentioned the other guy had. Then I met someone in NYC that's a friend of mine now, same thing, which is also when I got curious to study Judaism and think of converting. Then I started watching your videos now that I want to convert, still feeling the same thing and didn't really question why yet. Now, seeing this video, it all clicked. I have clarity now. All of the people that influenced my life the most are Jewish, and none of them know each other personally while all being oddly similar. There is truly a God, truly the Jews are the chosen people of God to carry out His will, and truly I'm an idiot for not making sense of this sooner because I was blinded by my atheism and then Christianity. Side note: I've met many, many devout, serious Christians in my life, like myself when I was a Christian, but they all didn't give off the same feeling and check the same boxes as when talking to a Jew. I can be talking to a Jew and never mention the Torah, Bible, anything religious and get the same feeling. Fascinating.

@@DIBBY40 But as Rabbi Singer states...burning in hell for all eternity is UNPROVABLE! Have you dug Henry up and asked him if hell exists and one will burn for eternity if they don't accept jcpenny as their lord and savior? However, the predictions that HaShem Told us directly and through His Prophets have ALL come true. We are presently waiting for the last one...the Geula/Final Redemption and Messianic Era ushered in by a man, Mashiach. But...He Told us that the 1st Beit HaMikdash would be destroyed and it was. He Said that the a 2nd one would be rebuilt and it was. He Said that the 2nd Temple would be destroyed and it was. He Promised that if we didn't keep His Torah that we would have famines, the rain would not fall and the crops wouldn't grow...and it did. He Promised that if we strayed from Him and worshipped others gods that He Would Blow us to the four corners of the earth and we would suffer...and it happened. He Promised that we are His Eternal People and here we still are! He Promised that we would return to our land and after 2000 years, we are back in Eretz Yisrael. PROVABLE!!! HaShem Is the REAL DEAL...others are not.

Many years ago in the army there was a discussion about whether or not money should be given to a homeless person. The majority agreed that money given would be used to buy alcohol or drugs by the begger. The out of no where a very young Jewish troop asked for permision to speak. Permision was given and the young troop said; in the jewish faith it was practice to give money to the homeless person regardless of what he or she would do with the donation because the sin of abuse would be on the head of the receiver. This lesson I believe is still in the hearts of the older people there. i.e. None Commisioned Officers. The happened nearly forty years ago and the memory is still with me today. The Jewish People are truly blessed.

truely beautiful interpretation of Judaism. Similar things were thaught to me as a younger man in the mosque, the reponsibility for you is greater than that of a non-muslim because you will be held to a higher standard if you want to enter heaven. Sadly we hear different things. for example the former chief rabbi Ovadia Yosef: “Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world - only to serve the People of Israel.” “In Israel, death has no dominion over them… With gentiles, it will be like any person - they need to die, but [God] will give them longevity. The authenticity of Moses is based on the public revelation at Sinai: God revealed Himself to the entire nation of Israel, at least three million people, and proclaimed before them the Ten Commandments. The entire Jewish people personally experienced that revelation, each individual in effect becoming a prophet, and each one verifying the experience of the other. With their own eyes they saw, and with their own ears they heard, as the Divine voice spoke to them, and also they heard God saying, "Moses, Moses, go tell them the following ..." They did not receive the occurrence of that event and accept it as some claim or tradition of an individual, but they experienced it themselves. That public revelation, therefore, authenticated the bona fide status of Moses as a prophet of God, and the Divine origin of the instructions he recorded in the Torah. That, and that alone, is the criterion for the belief in, and acceptance of, Moses and his teachings.

Muhammad Hussain Your forefather was Esau, Jacob's brother. Esau worshiped the same God as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob....the True God. The early Israelites did not teach that the dead go to heaven. That is not a teaching of true Judaism, nor was it a belief of Esau. If I'm not mistaken, I believe there are some Muslims and some Jews who teach an afterlife of heaven or hell, but I believe there are also Muslims and Jews who do not. The ones who do not are the ones who stuck closest to the teachings of your forefathers, Jacob and Esau. I'm sure you'll find several Jewish teachings that are similar to yours because of your common ancestral backgrounds. Judaism teaches that God will put an end to man's rule and restore the earth to paradise (Daniel 2:44). Judaism also teaches that good persons will inherit the earth and live on it forever. I think Islam also teaches similar, but correct me if I'm wrong. Peace friend.

@butasforme7753

Muhammad Hussain "But there are several verses about Heavens and Hell Fire in all three scriptures" The word "fire" in the NT and the OT in many instances is symbolic of complete destruction...a destruction from which there is no hope of restoration or resurrection. Here is what Jehovah, the true God, says in regard to teachings such as "hellfire" : Jeremiah 19:5 "They built the high places of Ba'al in order to burn their sons in the fire as whole burnt offerings to Ba'al, something that I had not commanded or spoken of and that had never even come into my heart." God does not burn his children in the fire. What would you think of a person who would take their child and torture them with fire? God is righteous and loving. He is not an unrighteous God nor is he a God of vengeance. As for mankind going to "heaven", this is what king David and Isaiah wrote under divine inspiration : Psalm 115:16 "As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah, but the earth he has given to the sons of men." Isaiah 45:1 "For this is what Jehovah says, the Creator of the heavens, the True God, the One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it, Who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited......"

Jewish,Noahide or Freemason what ever you called yourself if it connect you to anything other than God its not a systems of worshiped, its your alliance to that particular person or system. Moses never call the way to God mosaic or Judaism or Christianity all those names have an affiliation to something else's or someone, Asked your creator for his guidance open your hearts and look and read for the truth, Your Creator is Always closer to you and your always under his Care, May the peace and blessing of the creator always be with you.

You made the statement that "I've come to see how both faiths have a lot in common.", so to learn much more on this subject, I would recommend that, at some point, you purchase Rabbi Singer's 2-vol. set of books entitled "Let's Get Biblical - Why Doesn't Judaism Accept the Christian Messiah?". I have read these books myself, and find them to be an almost encyclopedic source of wisdom on the differences between Judaism and Christianity, and as indicated in the title - why Jews do not accept the Christian 'messiah'. The other books I have read on the same subject, which are not nearly as long as Rabbi Singer's, that you may wish to consider purchasing sometime in the future, are: "Judaism and Christianity - A Contrast", by Rabbi Stuart Federow, and "Leaving Jesus", a personal testimony by James Wood Jr., the son of a Southern Baptist Minister, who left Christianity after 25 years as a committed Christian, when he did his own research on both the origins of Christianity, and the Truth of what God actually said to us on Mt. Sinai. I wish you God's blessings for much wisdom and understanding as you continue to learn about Him.

The GOD is All GOOD therefore He expects from humans to do good and stay away from evil. Since we have Free Will we do fall short and make mistakes and sins. He allowed us to Repent and continue to learn and correct this is called Right Path. Those who do good will find good in the next life and those Who do evil and never repent and correct their action will end up with bad life.

John 3:1-17 English Standard Version You Must Be Born Again 3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus[a] by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again[b] he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.[c] 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You[d] must be born again.’ 8 The wind[e] blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” 9 Nicodemus said to him, “How can these things be?” 10 Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things? 11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you[f] do not receive our testimony. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.[g] 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.

In another video, Rabbi Singer stated that there is a special kind of idolatry that causes a person to not be part of the World To Come. This is when a person mixes worship of the Abrahamic God with the worship of an idol. It is similar to cheating on your spouse when you have gone into a marriage covenant with them. He brought up an example in 1 Kings when some Israelites were worshipping Hashem and Baal at the same time. This is considered even worse than being just a plain idolater. He then brought up that those Christians who worship the Abrahamic God AND also worship Jesus as a God are engaging in this type of idolatry. And that this prohibits them from becoming part of the World to Come. So that was a little disappointing. It's not as rosy as he makes it out here It seems most Christians who worship Jesus (not Unitarians and other such Christians) do not have a place in the World to Come. That is a lot of people. Now this doesn't mean I don't think that they are tormented in ways unimaginable for eternity like many Christians think. It just means that they do not continue in the New World. Still not great.

But, I see that in The Bible we are instructed to obey Him, repent and choose life. As new to The Bible as I am I can see after reading the first five chapters, that really, it's about obeying Him out of a love and respect for Him. So, I figure that this is what matters. And in the New Testament when Yeshua died for our transgressions, He also showed how He wants us to live by His every example. I believe Him. And He said that if we love G-d, we will obey His commandments. Oh yeah, and I want to add that this is a insightful teaching. Thanks.

I researched the answer to your question about how to get into heaven. Worshipping the trinity is an absolute sure guarantee to wind up in hell for a finite time until the soul is finally extinguished for eternity as trinity worship is committing both adultery as well as idolatry. Trinity worship is also a guaranteed way to violate the first commandment: “You shall not have the gods of others in My presence.” Deuteronomy 13:1 “Everything I command you that you shall be careful to do it. You shall neither add to it, nor subtract from it.” Then you might ask what you can do to increase your chances of getting in to heaven. Deuteronomy 6: 8. “And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for ornaments between your eyes.” It is interesting to note that most English translations of the Bible have removed Deuteronomy 13:1 and renumbered the sentences in Deuteronomy 13 without Deuteronomy 13:1.

@K H The “tri” in trinity means 3. It means you worship 3 different things. It is like a married woman having 2 additional lovers on the side for days when the husband travels for work. It isn’t ethical. Read the book of Isaiah for a full & better description. Thousands of years ago the Jewish people in Jerusalem in Northern Israel worshipped the god of Baal in addition to the real G - -. G - - was angered and had Jerusalem attacked by the Assyrian empire and later the Babylonian empire. G - - then had the Medo-Persian empire attack the Babylonians for their worship of Baal as well.

On Jews/Christians/Muslims/etc. : All are not "monolithic" in many religious, &/or secular POVs, though they can generally rally/unite as "one" on any topic/issue or at any crisis point requiring unification. Some are very "religious" or zealots for their religious paradigm, others are not. To think o/wise, is a mistake. On God: God is NOT a Jew, Christian, or a Muslim. But to listen or watch others pontificate and "act" you'd get the impression that "they", these people, "think/talk/act" like God's a Jew, Christian, or a Muslim as HE "favors" only "them," or thier own "revelation" given them. This too is a mistake. God reveals Himself, HIS Will, HIS word(s), HIS actions, (etc) in many ways, at many times, and in many things.....to many people & groups over the course of time/history. Sometimes HE does this in an obvious, overpowering way (supernatural), and at other times in a subtle, quiet, personal way. Often times these things of God are easy to understand, and at other times almost impossible to understand (immediately), as HIS ways, are not our ways. God is w/in us, and outside of us. HE is not limited to a/the "box" of understanding alone. We are the "limited" ones. HE is "outside" the "box" (of life; reality; etc) but can do anything including JOINING us in the "box." Some "get this." Some "don't." But, all will "get it" someday, and hopefully soon....though it is a journey, a walk with HIM, and the process should be cherished/enjoyed in all its awesome splendor.

The Law's commandments are not about going to heaven or hell. It is about Israel living in the land or not. When Israel obeyed, they prospered under David and Solomon in their land. When they disobeyed, God sent them to exile under Babylon. The law was given only to Israel (Psalm 147) and not to the Gentiles. God never promised the land to the Gentiles. The Gentiles were never part of the Old Covenant. This is why you need a New Covenant that is based on Faith in Jesus (Messiah of the World), and not on the Law so that both Jews and Gentiles can be saved, apart from the Law, but only by GRACE.

Waw. He seriously used a scripture of of context. Galatians 2:11 "But when Peter came to Antioch, I had to oppose him to his face, for what he did was very wrong. 12 When he first arrived, he ate with the Gentile believers, who were not circumcised. But afterward, when some friends of James came, Peter wouldn’t eat with the Gentiles anymore. He was afraid of criticism from these people who insisted on the necessity of circumcision. 13 As a result, other Jewish believers followed Peter’s hypocrisy, and even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy." Peter followed the upbringing from a Jewish perspective not to sit with uncircumsised believes, this was NOT A CHRISTIAN perspective (so not based on the Christian teachings) and in this letter it was being corrected as being un Christian. So, in this letter to the church in Galatians Paul is confronting Peter for giving into Jewish pear pressure and upbringing not to associate with Gentiles believers.

Moses ate with itro that was gentile In the torah the jews are forbidden to eat a part of sacrefice to idols But to eat normal food with gentile is ok And if a jew don't want to eat with a gentile then it's not from the torah

The idea that Jews are either very good or very bad 9:35 is silly and not supported by scripture or history. It's just a vain assertion. As a jew who grew up in Israel, I can tell you there are plenty of Jews that are everyday people.

Rabbi, I agree with much of your critique about Christianity. I recognized decades ago that Paul distorted the Hebrew scriptures in forging his Christian beliefs. I found your videos a week ago and listened to this one today. I must disagree with you about your characterization of Jews as either really good people or really bad people, and that people either really love Jews or really hate Jews. You may have been jesting or exaggerating to make a point. So excuse me if I am overreacting a bit. I recognize that I am stating my opinion here but I think I am not saying anything controversial to say that Jews are people like everyone else. We are all members of the human race with a common human nature. Whatever can be said that is true about Jews can be said about all other people. Humans are complex with complex neurobiology and psychology. None of us are either this or that, all good or all bad. So, respectfully, I must challenge you on your assertion that Jews are either really good or really bad people.

If non-Jews aren't less, then why do Jews have a "special role" of "healing the world" as if the world should follow their opinions on what's best? Singer talks out of both sides of his mouth. Also, how can "teaching Torah" be a mission of the Jew when Gentiles aren't allowed to learn Torah?

1. to show the word of god and to make the world a better place to expose evil (not in a mitical creture but in every men) and to corect it (therefore not jew can be a righteous man). 2. new not but its starting to happen in meny places in the world, non jews seek god and find him but not converting its called 'Bnei Noah' or noehide you can look it up. and this is the true messianic ages of the jews that all nation will seek god and the offcorse the Jewish task. so its may happen. Amen. 3. non-jews, acording to Jewish hallacah (from the Hebrew word halicha, meaning to walk by), not just aloud to learn Torah but have to learn Torah how much they aloud to do is another thing because some sections are only for jew like holidays and such.

The Most Highs plan for tbe salvation of his elect is Not a.Christian invention. It is contained in All of the So called old testament books and is referred to in the so called New testament even the prophetic book of Revelation. So The Most Highs salvation begins with Obedience to the law and his grace and in the end of this wicked world, Obedience to the law of the Most high and his grace is what will save us.

@@michelley9203: What you said is NOT what God ACTUALLY said to us. There is NO such thing as the "Old Testament", which is only a twisted, mistranslated, taken out of context, bastardized VERSION of God's original meaning. The "New Testament" is even worse, since it is a false, pagan, man-made, anti-God, anti-Jewish, hate-filled, replacement theology work of fiction that did NOT come from God, and actually preaches AGAINST what God ACTUALLY said to us! PLEASE do some honest research on how your false, pagan religion started, and you WILL discover that it absolutely did NOT come from God Creator of the universe. God ABHORS human sacrifice, therefore, the 'Jesus dying on a cross for people's sins' narrative, just did NOT happen! PLEASE do the research!!

Tovia Singer, I am a Canaanite at heart but as a Canaanite, I am saddened when I read the things that some of my people did to yours, however, I want you to know that though most Canaanites had statues as symbols of Elim([the] Gods), there were some Canaanite Prophets and Priests that hated idol worship, because it is not right to worship idols, and also our Chief God El Elyon also gave us a set ten rules Listed here: "I am El Elyon, thou shall not have another Bet'HaElhim(House/Family of the Gods, in other words no new Pantheons). You should not make for yourself any statues to worship. Is not better to know Elinu(your Gods) rather than a mere statue of them. You should not use the name of a god without reason, lest your name misused. You should love your neighbors, lest they seek your destruction. You should not impregnate your mother, sister or daughter, for incest would most likely destroy your house. You should not commit 'adultery', unless the woman's husband in writing allows it with the word of 10 unrated witnesses and the woman's consent. You shall not covet any of your neighbor's. You shall not murder, for a murderer has no to right to to fear to Mot. You shall not steal, for if you steal your neighbor, you steal from me. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor."

@@user-cu2ov8rm1v We believe in only one divine family, and El Elyon is the head of his family, so although, there are many which are called gods, only One can be Elyon. Whether or not the 70 sons of El and Asherah were themselves gods or merely angels was one of causes of conflict between us. The other was that in Canaanite culture Elohim meant the gods (and goddesses) collectively. For Canaanites like me, we believe if any of the gods to truly rebel against El Elyon, they would die like Adam and fall together as princes.
