Great to see this well executed video on a spectacular home theater. It was nice to see the passion the home owner has for movies and how it has been a big part of his up bringing. Love the hall way leading up to the home theater and how it took over six years in collecting those display items. The only thing I wished we could have seen is the rack full of his gear, unless I some how missed it. Maybe it can be added in another video update. Either way great job and congrats on a well done project!

Thanks so much for your kind words 😁 The rack was hidden in a closet nearby. However, for security reasons since it had more home security and other parts, we decided not to show it. That's a very good point though!

Interesting, I built my theater about two years ago and have virtually the same setup. Sony VPL-VW715ES instead of 6000es. Anthem 1140 with Paradigm speakers 7.2.4. 12” subs instead of 10” and in wall are the p80 instead of p65. Went with Cinema Tech seating. Kaleidescape and Madvr as well. Amazingly similar. I went with 145” scope screen and use the Madvr to control aspect ratios to eliminate the black bars.

The Bruce Lee poster is not from 1967. Collecting Bruce Lee posters is what i do. That French poster is from 74/75

Yes, unfortunately this is not something everyone can afford. Our home theater cost us almost $20k and still doesn’t touch something like this, that Sony projector is $11k just by itself, that might give you an idea about the rest of the project. A person who’s a home theater geek just appreciates it from afar.
