AudioThing SR-88 is a sample-based plugin emulation of the Sound Master Memory Rhythm SR-88, a rare analog drum machine from the 80s.
The instrument features 5 classic analog sounds: Kick, Snare, Hi Hat 1, Hi Hat 2, and Cymbal, which can be pitched, panned or mixed independently. You can additionally shape the sound with the Low Pass Filter (Zero Delay Feedback), Overdrive, Compressor and Reverb. The sequencer lets you easily build patterns that can be exported as MIDI files.

It has been available for years on desktop but just became available on iOS / Apple Vision. It has 5 classic analog sounds: Kick, Snare, Hi Hat 1, Hi Hat 2, and Cymbal, which can be pitched, panned or mixed independently. The sequencer lets you easily build patterns inside the app. Dragging and dropping of midi does not work in the iOS app but you can export midi using the little button that looks like a sequencer beside the Tempo button. Yes! I haven't checked but I suspect this machine has been used on a fair few tracks I've enjoyed. I just found out the Cocteau Twins used it, that's a good enough endorsement!

I hope Audiothing releases the Latin percussion, I had lots of fun with the VST demo years ago, just couldn’t afford it at the time. I remember that the patterns were well programmed, just hopping between presets was a vibe. Definitely gonna check this out. Nice one

Cool sounding drum machine and AudioThing apps are always top quality. I wonder if there is the possibility to copy/paste between patterns. Separate effects for each channel would be cool too, but simplicity can also be inspiring. Nice video!

That doesn't work on the iOS version, as I understand it, though you can export the midi patterns from the standalone version of the app.
