Got some audio you need to trim silence from? Well, you can either delete silence or shorten silence very easily inside of Adobe Audition. This video shows you all you need to know to get started. It goes from simple to in-depth if you'd like some more control over your audio.

Thank You for the video. A real timesaver. After deleting silent gaps, the audio file leaves a gap at the end of clips. Is there a way to get rid of that gap automatically without having the cut from each clip?

I love the detail you go into here. And at a nice pace too. Thanks for this! Lots of people just say this is how you do it, but then it doesn't work like that on your computer and you're like WHY?!?!!??! It's great that you go through "what ifs" or as some might call it... trouble chuting ;)
