About Designer Victoria Hamilton
Growing up in California, Victoria Hamilton always dreamed of working for Disney. Eighteen years ago, she followed that dream to the Walt Disney World Resort, where, fresh out of college, she accepted a product development internship with the Disney Theme Park Merchandise team. Her career in product development and design has brought her to many places, and she has been able to create unforgettable memories for Park Guests to take home.
As a child in central California, Victoria and her family would load up the car once a year and drive to spend a magical day at Disneyland Park. She loved how her day started and ended in the most magical spot: in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The excitement of walking down the Main Street U.S.A. area in the morning, the anticipation that evening waiting for Tinker Bell to fly through the fireworks, Aurora's Castle bookended Victoria's magical day. The story of the Princess inspired Victoria, too. The way Aurora trusted her heart and always believed in her dreams. After all, ''If you dream a thing more than once, it's sure to come true.'' Aurora pursued her dreams and danced into the clouds at the end, showing Victoria that she could do the same.

I always find it interesting how the rose is a symbol for Aurora AND Belle, but Aurora rarely gets represented with it. I think she should though since her rose is different than Belle’s, since it’s a less open rose.

Love her. I ordered her a vew days ago. In my opinion she`s stunning with her gems and the play with the colours. She seems a little bit girly, but that fits her naive and playful (singing, dancing) personality. She is my favourite of the line. Greetings from Germany.

Oh My!!! I am so happy She is with you already! Mine will be arriving tomorrow, fingers crossed! Aurora is Gorgeous! Honestly she’s very beautiful. I’m glad I ordered her after seeing your review. Honestly I didn’t fully love her gown at first but knowing now that there’s wire inside to shape it makes it so much better to me 💖 I do feel her face is a big too approachable, it is beautiful but Aurora is heavily stunning. An untouchable beauty. But I love it nonetheless.

She’s so pretty. The face is beautiful and the ombré colours of the dress are awesome. I won’t be getting her because I don’t collect Disney and am just budgeting for one or both of Snow White and Belle. As I’ve probably commented before, if I won the lottery, I would get the whole series. It’s great Disney is offering all the dolls in larger quantities.

I like her a lot but I kinda wish they made her a pointed bodice or some trimming on her waist seam. The pleat on the under skirt just looks funny to me but when you bent the wire on the over skirt, it made everything make sense!

They didn't give her earrings nor bracelets! Still Beautiful doll and love her background but To me Princess Tiana and Jasmine and Mulan are my favorite but I will stil get her since I don't have the classic princess as always thanks for the review

yep she is beautifull. there is a lot of sleeping beauty in this design. I'm not crazy about the dress. I would have loved a Cape with this pointed hood from the fairytale, maybe a train on the dress. all over it's an different design....and yes I'm the critical fan, sorry 😞 for that, I did get her though. I just can't help my self. wonderful rewive as always ❤️ thank you for that.

This is my second favourite doll from this collection. Aurora’s personality is captured here. She is so soft and lady like. I love that they mixed blue and pink color on her dress because she wore them in the movie and I love the make-up and the hair. Even though she does not have her bangs you can still recognize her.

i love everything except the under skirt; it looks similar to the plain-looking skirts of the basic disney store dolls. Great review! Saludos

thank you for mentioning the wiring on the skirt, i also like how it looks more than the original cage kinda styling. i’m going to see if i can do it on my boxed doll. i do wish she had her signature bangs and curl - i showed her to a few people and no one could identify which princess she was on the first try. i also think her face should be more long and angular. but overall, she still looks beautiful merida will be really interesting to see, since she has never gotten the designer doll treatment and she hasn’t had an LE doll in years. kinda funny that the ariel doll stole her curly red hair tho!

Oh my god, I’ve been waiting for an unboxing of Aurora. I’m definitely going to wash her hair for my unboxed one. Merida and Moana will be interesting. Merida should definitely be a McQueen inspiration (he was Scottish as is Merida) she’s also not a fancy gownish princess and she has a bigger head. For Moana, she’s also not a gown princess and her body is more curvy and has a thicker body than everyone else.

My Aurora's arriving today....can't wait to see her with my own eyes. I'm really loving the small details on this doll. The three embroidered fairies, the wiring in the skirt, the color fade from pink to blue. I'm am simply loving the Princess Celebration line. Still waiting for my Tiana. I got her on pre-order and still not shipped. But I know she's coming soon. Great video!

She's beautiful! Thank you for such an in-depth review, I was wondering if the panels are see through and what the inside of the overskirt looked like up close, and you've showed it perfectly!
