La letra de esta canción está escrita de una manera tan hermosa que uno no pensaría que narra una historia trágica de abuso físico y asesinato en una pareja. Esta canción y “murder song 5,4,3,2 1” son las historias más oscuras que narra Aurora. No puedo evitar llorar al escuchar ambas canciones. Ella es mágica y súper talentosa ❤️

Es tu primera vez? Aurora digo? No te imaginas con quien te econtraste, yo la vi por primera vez en 2016, soy musico y tengo 68........me cautivo desde el primer dia, y ademas de compositora y narradora increible, tiene trmenda presencia en el escenario.....te transporta a otras realidades. Una voz super especial, con un tremendo dominio de su instrumento natural..es unica a sus 24 años. Su compañera Silja Sol es tambien espectacular y juntas hacen un equipo de poendas. Y la persona, el ser humano dentro de la artista es un ser privilegiado y maravilloso I mean, she is the Best of the best, absolutely unique qand gifted and so very cute, Asi que hemana, buscala y encontraras ese viaje fascinante y gratificante, ella es un tesoro

Aurora is something special. She has so much goodies to offer and she is an amazing person. Runaway is a good place to start. It is one of her iconic songs, and she wrote it at eleven. She writes most of her stuff herself and is a creative goddess.

The gitarist/backupvocalist are Silja Sol. Aurora often plays with tempo / timing in these "feeling songs", so as you can see she is looking CLOSELY at Aurora to follow her lead.... Aurora is a very uniq artist.... Take a look at her Nidarosdomen or Haik Concerts..... Her videos are fantastic, but her live stuff are mindblowingly fantastic..

I’ve been waiting for you to discover Aurorora. As a Norwegian, we are very proud of her. It took me some time to get into her lyrics. But there is NO WAY AROUND ! She is a mix of childlike and extremely mature. In a way that I am not ! Please dig deep, and apreciate what this girl/ woman is all about. I don’t think you’ll regret it. And yes; her performances on the Nobel peace price are quite something !!! Enjoy .......... Best rgds

Aurora y Angelina son las nuevas reinas de la música en Noruega. Mucho antes que ellos teníamos / tenemos SISSEL. Una de las mejores soprano del mundo con una voz cristalina. Sissel cantó "Slow Down" con The Tabernacle Choir en 2019 con un aplauso permanente. Se dice que estaba nerviosa porque la canción era muy difícil. Me pregunto qué fue tan difícil que una de las mejores soprano del mundo con décadas de experiencia lo sintió. Si reaccionas, ¿puedes explicar qué es tan difícil de la canción? Aurora and Angelina are the new upcoming queens of music in Norway. Long before them we had / have SISSEL. One of the world's best female soprano with a crystal clear voice. Sissel sang "Slow Down" with The Tabernacle Choir in 2019 to standing applause that would not end. It is said that she was nervous because the song was so difficult. I wonder what was so difficult that one of the world's best soprano with decades of experience felt it? If you react to it can you explain what is so difficult about the song.

There are so many great performers coming out of Norway right now. Some are singers with fantastic voices, some sing and dabble with composition and some mostly compose. Aurora is a truly well rounded musician. Writing the lyrics and composition, co-producing her music, co-directing her videos, currently playing at least 4 instruments, and lets not forget that voice. I listen to music all day every day, from the great composers, through 70's prog, metal, art rock, jazz, blues and anything new that's not just a product of the industry at large. I believe Aurora is the best artist writing, producing and performing at the moment. Her ability to convey complex ideas in simple verse, as only a true poet can, and her ability to express so much emotion as she performs is unequaled at this time.

When I first heard this song, I was so mesmerized and intrigued by all the vocal techniques and sheer beauty of the song that I couldn't absorb the lyrics. It took me maybe 10-15 times befor I started listen to the words, not just as words of a song, but I was also able to connect them and understand what she is singing about - it's was like hearing the song for the first time all over again.

I love this song and agree that the duet portions are incredible. After listing to Angelina followed by your reaction to Aurora, I feel like we are in the same wavelength in what brings joy to our ears. Your technical expertise and ability to copy the style and voice of these two vastly different but equally enjoyable Norwegian girls is amazing. If you want to do another intimate reaction to Aurora, my favorites orite is the stripped (Acapella) version of her “Through The Eyes Of A Child” it available both on KZfaq and VEVO.

Hola Ceci, thank you for reacting to Aurora, she is a wonderful artist. I know that you concentrated on her vocal techniques in this reaction (as you should, being a voice coach), but if you look at the lyrics I think you will appreciate this song even more. They are very dark and descriptive (and a bit scary). They give give the song a deeper meaning then most, and convey a important message, especially for women. I connect this song with " I Went To Far", another beautiful song of hers with dark lyrics that I believe give more context to this song... Others may disagree, but that's my take on them anyway. Wait until you react to songs from her performance at Nidarosdomen (The 850 year old Nidaros cathedral in Trondheim Norway). She sings with a choir (Aurora loves to sing with men's choire's) and is accompanied by a symphony orchestra and the church organ, it's magical.

Vitas Bumac tiene incomparablemente más control de su voz que Dimash lo malo es que algunos dicen que casi todos sus en vivos son playback en cambio Dimash si se sabe que cambia en vivo, pero también es que Vitas es muy perceccionista más que nivel, y a veces cantantes que están en suficiente buena forma suenan siempre igual

@@corinarojas5092 también eso me gusta de Dimash, pero realmente una buena técnica se puede usar cantando lo que sea, también el forzar siempre cantar opera no es lógico porque si uno no se siente suficientemente bien tampoco tiene mucho sentido forzar para cantar algo muy bonito como opera que necesita mucho control cuando uno realmente se siente inestable, y se identificaria cantar más algo más movido y inestable como rock

Recuerdo que cuando escuché 'Into the unknown' de Frozen 2, me llamó mucho la atención ese sonido, que primero pensé que había sido manipulada con Auto tune o algo así, así que me di a la tarea de buscar si era voz real o reproducida por algún instrumento, y así fue como conocí a Aurora. Después la vi actuar en los premios Óscar y a partir de ahí me enamoré de su voz. Lo curioso es que ya la había escuchado con 'Wardruna', pero no captaba que era ella misma 😅.

Hey. I recommend "Runaway" at the Nobel peace price consert. Its the song even she recommends you start her diskcovery with and the NPP conscert is the most beatiful performance of the song in my opinion. Bonus is that being live it is a lot less likely to get flagged :) Take care and stay safe :)

¡Maravillosa reacción! Aurora is the total package - singer, songwriter, musician, dancer, producer/arranger, choreographer, and an absolutely lovely human being (and she’s just 24 years old!). She will often perform her songs quite differently - sometimes with her band, other times stripped down to just her and one instrument, a cappella, with full orchestra, etc. - so it is definitely worth listening to different versions of the same song. Also, some of her videos are mini-masterpieces as well. Aurora live is even more of a treat. "Runaway" Nobel Peace Prize concert 2015, "Through The Eyes Of A Child" Nidarosdomen (Trondheim Cathedral) 2017 and "Daydreamer" HAIK concert 2019 (filmed in the forest where Aurora played in her childhood).

During her childhood, she learned to play piano, song, recorder, guitar and various stringed instruments. In adolescence her interest in songwriting started to manifest itself. In 2014, pop artist Aurora Aksnes was looking for a background vocalist and keyboard player, and Silja was recruited into her band. She would not let the fact that she couldn´t play the keyboard at the time stop her, and when asked if she knew of anyone who might be up to the task, she suggested herself. This turned out to be a great match, and Silja is still part of Aurora's live crew on tours around the world. In 2017 her third full-length album, "Ni Liv", was released with Fredrik Vogsborg (Casiokids, Aurora) in the producer´s chair. With an energetic, danceable beat and rich electronic sound, it signaled a clear genre shift. The lyrics also became more serious. Where the lyrics previously revolved around motives such as openness and curiosity, "Ni Liv" talked about life and death, infinity, eternity and adventure. With "Ni Liv", she won her first Norwegian Grammy in the indie-category. The singles "Dyrene", "Ni Liv" and "Semmenemme" were on high rotation on Norwegian radio.

Aurora tem essa aura mítica, muito linda... Aqui no Brasil ela ficou bem conhecida, acho que é o país que mais escuta Aurora fora da Noruega... Aliás, não sei que água esse povo da Noruega tá tomando que está trazendo tanta gente talentosa para o mundo.

Y ya cuando se combina con la de Silja (Silja Sol Tiene su propia banda) es que te caes al suelo literalmente....Ya no es solo un ángel...Son dos!! La descubrí hace ya un tiempo buceando por los mares infinitos de KZfaq encontrandome Running with the wolves y me dije; Puuuuuf ESTA "NESKA" PROMETE MUCHO...Si ya sus canciones son de esa onda nórdica tan particular y única cuando las canta en acústico, es para quitarse el sombrero o arrodillarte y decir... Ave Aurora los que te escuchan se inclinan...Jajaaa no tanto, pero casi... Junto a Susanne Sundfor y Eivor Pallsdotir mi trio de cantantes Nordicas , lo comanda esta muchacha angelical...
