I am glad that the color palette and the shading haven't changed from what the OG was. It is one of the most crisp, pleasant to the eye graphic settings for RTS games

Reusing powers at the cost of Favor is really interesting. It was frustrating to use a power and then let it slide. I guess the games like C&C Generals and C&C3 with the power to use gave them an idea regarding the reusage of special powers.

Going to be honest - AoM is so messy due to the god powers and myth units it's probably both the most fun Age game to play as well as the most fun to watch.

@AussieDrongo maybe you could rotate the map such that it matches the UI. It's only a temporary fix, but at least the red color would always be on the right side an the blue on the left side.

At the top left, there's a raven icon representing Odin. On the right, there's a helmet icon representing Hades.😂

Villagers have little changes across civs. Greek are pretty standart. Norse are limited to build farms, wagons and houses. Egyptian are slow to build, you need a lot of them to rush, or have a pharaoh to help out. BTW, crazy memories. I have similar about aom, it was my first rts.

I don't know if you haven't noticed yet, but I think the UI colors are flipped with the map colors. 🤠

It's odd seeing a Hades player pick Athena over Ares. Ares just has better upgrades that play into Hades specialty. More damage for archers plus more damage for hoplites which you'll want for a meat shield
